We stayed in house 1 for a week at the beginning of June. It is a lovely house, has been tastefully renovated with lots of lovely touches of local glass, pottery and other artefacts. The space is great - there were two of us and we loved the double height living room, with the master bedroom overlooking it through a window from above - and you could see the sea from the bed! The terrace was large - one of the largest we have seen in Oia for a single appartment, which means you can choose sunshine or shade throughout the day.
It's a comfortable place - nice sofas inside, decent outdoor furniture, perfect for sitting with your glass of wine looking at the fabulous caldera view. You can't see the actual sunset from here but you are very close so can have your appetitive in wonderful peace and quiet, then pop out round the corner two minutes before the sunset, missing the enormous crowds for most of the time!
Tania and Alex were incredibly helpful - from before we arrived, to a great briefing on the local attractions
/restaurant recommendations when we got there. The house is well appointed - perfect for having your home made Greek supper or breakfast on the terrace.
We would highly recommend this property and would go back like a shot. Thanks Tania and Alex for a wonderful stay.
