Just down the road from our hotel - we ate there several nights as great staff, entertainment, food and wine. The large menu offered a good selection of Greek food - favourites being chicken souvlaki and moussaka. We never got around to dessert - but the doughnuts and ice cream looked great. The house wine (red`) is really quite nice. The multinational customers are asked their nationality and promptly a flag of their country is placed on their table...it was fun seeing who else was in the room - Chinese, American, Brits, Germans, French etc.... Its the kind of place everyone talks to their neighbours. The live music is great fun - Greek folk songs and not just Zorba. They also throw in a few Beatle numbers too. Their CD is given to anyone tipping decently.

If you do not like cats, then perhaps give this place a miss - the owner told us he has 22 at the moment as he rescues them. They are non-intrusive, but do enjoy the odd tit bit - the tiny kittens are very sweet, sitting on the owners spare chair while he plays his guitar. Lots of nostalgic pictures are around the restaurant and a photo is taken of all newcomers.

A good night out - highly recommended

We passed the restaurant a couple of times before going for food and noticed it seemed to have a lively and busy atmosphere. We decided to visit on a Wednesday evening and the atmosphere was great with live traditional Greek music. The waiters were keen to find honeymooners as there is a Greek song dedicated to newly weds! We enjoyed the food although slightly regretted our specific choices but we don’t think this is reflective of the restaurant as a whole as this was our personal taste. The one downside for us was that in terms of the bill, we were not offered our change and this meant we left a larger tip than we intended. Otherwise we would recommend and return ourselves particularly because of the live music.

Live music every night by Mihalis the owner. Traditional Greek Taverna food and wonderful atmosphere. Each table has a flag of origin and gets a photo. These photos are stored year-after-year. When you return (and you will) you can find your photo from your past visits.

Chaos abounded. Tomato ball was awful. Moussaka OK. Seemed to be OK for big groups that could sort their cutlery and what they ordered. Local musicians played one or two songs then had a rest. Noise of the passing traffic was loud. Won't be going back

Santorini Mou is next to a popular car park and meeting spot. We went in for a snack while waiting for a lift. There were two other customers in the whole place. When the two of us sat at a table for 4 the waitress immediately grumpily moved us to a two seat table. Fair enough. She then plonked condiments on the table and when we said we only wanted a drink she grumpily removed them and said we should have told her. We were then shown the menu and we ordered doughnuts with two small bottles of lemonade because we felt awkward. Our lift arrived and we were charged 30 euros for this experience. We had such lovely experiences in other restaurants in Oia and Finikia we were amazed by this. We won't be returning.
