apartments are light and bright, with everything you need. very attractive blue doors and shutters. each one has a terrace with table, chair and umbrella (as well as a clothesline). refrigerator is good sized, so you have everything you need to cook in if you choose. best of all, Stavros and Panos are very kind and attentive, making you feel as if you are visiting old friends. they allowed us to change our reservation and set us up with a ride from the airport. there is a bar for espresso and breakfast in the am, drinks in the pm. the pool is smaller than it looks in the photos but plenty big for a short swim-- it is chilly but refreshing! room was quiet despite a very central location (you don't have to drag your bags very far along the cobblestones!)

Room Tip: the upstairs rooms are more likely to have a view, though they are a bit windy

We spent a week in Oia (Ee-ah) which was made enjoyable by the friendly welcome from Panos and Stavros. They are always very helpful, arranged transfers, listened to client problems and helped resolve them. Their hospitality helped make our holiday. The recommendations on where to eat and what to see were really helpful. Stavros even provided scores from the UK for my football club, Gillingham - no sneering in the ranks please - someone has to support them . i would certainly recommend you try this place.
Its not the most well equipped apartments that you will stay in but its fine and good value for money considering the location. Its only a short walk from the very exclusive areas of Oia, the views, the shops, the restaurants and the sunset.
Our apartment had a double bed in a light and airy room, shower/toilet, small kitchen area that was basically equipped, good fridge and coffee filter. It was pretty peaceful in the complex. The pool was nearly always empty - its not the biggest but its fine for a bracing swim (it doesnt get loads of sunlight at this time of year).

Room Tip: Go upstairs. Get a room with a vaulted ceiling. Try and get away from the side with the passage to t...

When we arrived we were greeted by Panos and Stavros who run this hotel. Both are very welcoming and hospitable. They made sure that all of our needs were met throughout out stay. The room was spacious and clean, Hotel itself is charming and in an excellent location. A simple walk up the stairs to the beautiful sunset every night. More restaurants than you can choose from and charming shops. My only regret was that we didnt stay there longer!!!

I spend a lot of time searching for a hotel in Santorini, because I wanted a small boutique hotel with the typical architecture of the area and I found Oia's Sunset! The staff is super friendly, with personalized attention - they will help you get the best experience in Santorini. They were even cool when we were late from our dive when we had to check out.
The pool in the center is very nice to cool off from the hot Santorni days. Some rooms have a private terrace which was wonderful for breakfast, which we bought in a store next to the hotel and made ourselves in the small full kitchen that each room has.
The location was wonderful since it is close to a parking space / bus station so it is easy to take your bags to the hotel.

My husband, 1 yr old daughter, and I stayed at the Oia Sunset for 4 nights in early September 2011. The hotel location is perfect -- easy access to taxis and cabs and right in the middle of the pedestrian streets. The room was spacious with a mini kitchen and private terrace. The maids kept us stocked w/ lots of towels. The terrace was perfect for evening drinks. Panos, the manager, was wonderful. He gave us good advice about things to do, places to eat, and arranged a rental car for us. He was friendly and helpful without ever being overbearing -- and our little girl loved him. The hotel upgraded our room (without us even requesting it) and gave us comfortable, clean, and convenient homebase to explore Oia and Santorini. We would definately recommend Oia (most picturesque and nicest town on the island) and the Oia Sunset Hotel to anyone traveling to Santorini.

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms seemed to have more privacy, but 1st floor rooms have slightly easier access to the...

This hotel is excellent value for money. The apartment was big, clean and the view from the balcony was fantastic. The best asset of this hotel however is that it has Panos and Stavros! They are both very friendly and helpful and will always take the time to answer your questions and give great advice about things to do and where to eat.
