My husband myself and 2 young daughters stayed during the off season in March 2014 We had 2 suites with the outdoor heated jacuzzi which meant we could relax in it late evenings taking in the view with a glass of wine Though there was no breakfast we realised it was a blessing as the bakeries close by served a vast array of fresh puffs breads coffee The views were simply amazing The staff at the tourist office nearby were so helpful and can guide on places to visit tours and airport transfers at very good rates We would definitely love to go there again

We stayed here during off-season in Santorini. It was one of the few hotels open, but I'm so glad they were. I contacted the hotel a few weeks before our arrival to get info on restaurants and possible activities and Eleanora was so helpful. She booked airport transfers, restaurants, tours and massages for us. We really liked the property even though due to the season it was partially under construction. That didn't distract from the breathtaking views. We had a great suite that was spacious and clean. The jacuzzi was a bonus. We really enjoyed the continental breakfast each morning on our balcony. We would definitely stay at 160 Thea again.

Everything about this place is simply perfect. The setting, the view, the accommodation, the staff - everything!

A massive thank you to Natalie for helping me to arrange our surprise trip (I must have emailed her about 50 times!). We visited 160 thea on our engagement and Natalie really looked after us and made us feel so welcome and loved. It was like visiting our favourite Greek auntie!

I can not recommend 160 Thea highly enough.

If you're thinking of going to Santorini, then 160 Thea has got to be top of your list!

John & Eve

Room Tip: The executive suites are brilliant. All rooms are great though to be honest.

Stayed in 160 Thea in Oia for 6 nights in September and had a fabulous time. This hotel is built into the caldera so there was about 160 or so steps to our room and some rooms were further down so if you have mobility or breathing difficulties this is not the place for you. The views from our balcony were absolutely stunning but we were at the wrong angle for sunset views. Being somewhere nice either a bar or restaurant for the sunset is what the island of santorini is all about but be prepared to pay way over the normal price for food or drink if you are facing the sunset. Some of the rooms have jacuzzis but ours didn't but personally that wasn't a problem for me, a pool would have been nice though. There was one in the mystique hotel located right next door but we weren't sure if we were allowed to use it, although we did see people from our hotel using it. I have to mention Savana the manager of the hotel, she was excellent, she would organise anything you want from tours to cruises to restaurant reservations, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is served on your balcony and is fabulous. This hotel is really lovely but a little on the pricey side but then most of the hotels built into the caldera with such beautiful views in Oia are.

Room Tip: There are 2 rooms beside the reception and they get a lot of people walking past so if you have an o...

Stayed here for 3nights/4days last July with two friends and had the most amazing time!!

Upon arrival, this nice gentleman, picked-up three of our luggages (weighing more than 50++kg) at once, and brought it down to reception (If you've been to Santorini, you'd know how steep those stairs can get). That was just the start of how helpful the staff are at this hotel. Both receptionists (there were always two shifting in a day), arranged everything for us - rent-a-car, restaurant reservations, boats, etc. They showed us how and where to go around the island. Our breakfast were always served at the right time right by our balcony, which had the most amazing view. Our room was clean and spacious.

My only concerns were: (1) the bathroom, which was a bit small and (2) wifi can't reach our room, so when we needed to go online, we did it in our balcony.

But overall, stay was perfect. The hotel and the staff went the extra mile to make our vacation comfortable and memorable!

The property was located next to the 5-star Mystique, which was its sister property. Don't be fooled though, the only reason why Thea 160 was a 2-star property was because instead of having room service, restaurant and pool on its premises, it made use of Mystique's services instead - and Thea 160's guests were welcomed to use them. So the housekeeping staff's from Mystique and the decadent breakfast was also catered by Mystique as well.

Besides the obvious reasons (great rooms, great views, great breakfast, etc...), the reason why I enjoyed my stay as much as I did was the wonderful and lovely operations manager, Natali, who provided wonderful recommendations.

I had some issues with the housekeeping though as they had forgotten to replace the bathrobes even though we had requested for it and the shampoo and shower gels were never replenished (my friend and myself were running dry on a tiny bottle of shampoo and shower gel after 3 days!) till we noted it to Natali on Day 3.

The breakfast could only be described as spectacular and so it was with a bit of regret that I had to skip it after my 4th night as I was catching a really early flight to Athens. There were great views of the caldera but not that the famous Oia sunset could not be viewed from the hotel as due to the situation of the property, there was blockages.

This hotel while fantastic in almost every other way would not be suitable for people who have problems with their mobility as there was loads of walking up and down the steps (about 180 steps I think) to get to the main street and back.

Room Tip: Some rooms have a terrace that does not have much of a view because they are actually behind a commo...

My husband and I went away to get married and decided to go to Santorini for our ceremony. When we talked with the wedding planners (Antonia & Dimitra from Mystique - their sister property) we received the exact ceremony that we wanted; it was gorgeous, simple, elegant and truly unique. We have received many compliments about the scenery and hotel from pictures; I think my favorite one so far was comparing the pictures to those you see in movies- it doesn't look real!

The hotel (both Mystique and 160Thea) is along the cliff of Oia that overlooks the Caldera and is stunning. The elegant white rooms are carved in the side of the cliffs with patio sets outside the rooms to take in the stunning view. In addition to the patio sets to have breakfast on each morning, a few of the suites also have hot tubs to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere- which we suggest taking advantage of!

Not only was the ceremony itself amazing but the service with Thea160 and
Mystique employees was great. We have never had such great service; especially not with people that were very friendly and great to talk to. Thomas and George from Charisma were fantastic during our reception dinner. We all were impressed with the appetizers and superb meals in
addition to the great idea of Strongbow Martinis and the phenomenal view from the property (which overlooked the caldera)!

Elenora & Savina from Thea160 reception were very helpful, friendly & accomodating. Both helped us throughout our stay find new places to eat & different areas to explore. Their suggestions were phenomenal (the Winery down the road, the Catamaran ride, the dessert/gelato place and helping set up the motobikes for us). We really appreciated
all the help; we loved being able to just trust in those we asked and had a really good time on the island.

Alfred was very helpful in assisting us as well as our friends on our departure with carrying our bags. We appreciated his help and didn't expect to be told that we weren't to carry any of our bags.

Last but not least, Antonia & Dimitra; there are no words to express the gratitude that we have for both of them. If it wasn't for finding the best wedding coordinators/planners, our wedding wouldn't
have been so amazing. They constantly kept in contact with us, emailed us new ideas or suggestions, took the time to look into different options and answering my many, many questions. Not only was Oia truly spectacular, but they really helped create that for us and helped transform our idea into reality. We hope they both (along with the rest of the staff) are recognized for how phenomenal of a job that they did for people like us wanting to get married a long way from home.

In addition to the hotel, it's stunning views, phenomenal food, amazing staff & perfect atmosphere- the hotel was also near the heart of the town of Oia which has beautiful views, great food, little shops & a lot of opportunities for adventures- including wineries, beaches, motorbikes, catamaran tours (with hot springs), ect. It took us 40-60 minutes to get from one end of the island to the other so you can have once in a lifetime experiences. We highly recommend it & hope to return !

Room Tip: 35: lowest along the cliff (most stairs to walk up to the road) but it was a little secluded, 2 suit...
