This was the perfect spot to stay while visiting Oia! The views are breathtaking, and each room feels like your own little private hideaway. The staff were amazingly helpful and attentive. So happy we stayed here!

We spent 5 nights here at the start of our honeymoon in May and it was the BEST decision we made! Prior to booking, I was completely smitten with photos of the view from the rooms, the delicious looking breakfast and the overwhelmingly positive reviews on trip advisor. It did not disappoint - in fact it was a 100x better in person! We stayed in the boatman's house, which is higher up in the property, giving more privacy. We had a spectacular view over the caldera from our balcony (which also had a sunbed and an amazing spa that was always sparkling clean and heated) and we could also lie in bed and see the caldera. The location was excellent - it was a 5min walk to Oia village and then another 15min stroll past all the shops to the famous sunset spot. Being on our honeymoon, it was perfect for us to be just a little way off the main strip as we didn't feel crowded by people at all. The breakfast was incredible - could not get enough of the amazing Greek yoghurt, bread, fresh cheeses and tomatoes and boiled eggs...not to mention the delicious range of teas and fresh juice they offered. We also had lunch and snacks one afternoon and the food was incredible every time. The girls at the hotel were fantastic for the whole of our stay and also leading up to us arriving. They arranged a transfer to and from the airport (and changed it last minute for us when we got stuck in Athens with an airport strike) and they also provided us with lots of information about what to do on the island. Maria, Katerina and Loella were wonderful and whenever we saw them, they checked how we were going and if there was anything else we needed. They also booked us on a sunset cruise around Santorini (incredible - a must do!), booked us a quad bike and gave us suggestions for where to go on our trip round the island (so much fun!), booked us in for a massage and booked us in for a beautiful, delicious meal at Ochre, one of the fine dining restaurants in Oia with a view of the sunset. They were so kind and considerate - and great fun to chat to as well!
We can't thank everyone at Ikies enough for the care they took in looking after us on our honeymoon. We loved every minute of it. One day, we'll be back in Santorini and this is where we will stay without a doubt.

Dear JenWhiteway,
We are so thrilled that the start to your honeymoon was so great and that we were able to surpass your expectations!
The Boatman’s House is indeed a wonderful room with plenty of romance and a unique view.
We hope to be chatting with you again soon.

Absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it! A charming hotel, a breath-taking view, and an outstanding service. The hotel website does not reflect its true beauty. I definately hope to go there again. The only thing missing is an infinity pool.

Stayed here for only one night which was sadly all time would allow me in Santorini. I've been budget travelling around Greece with my sister but decided to "splurge" for one night in Santorini. Worth every penny! Our room and outdoor patio had full views of Oia, the ocean, the volcano, the sunsets and all that stuff you see on postcards.

Staff could not have been lovelier! Helped us with everything from carrying luggage, honest advice on what to do in the area, and even gave us a ride to bus stop.

Breakfast was included in the rate, was served to us on our patio and was delightful! Fruits, bread, pastries, meats, eggs, cheeses, Greek yogurt etc (we could've had other items like cereals but we chose not to).

Wifi was free too and worked well the entire time.

The room itself was large with an upstairs loft bedroom. Mini kitchenette although we didn't use this. Other good perks like comfy slippers, an exchange bookshelf, free selection of drinks in the mini-bar and on-demand movies (free of charge) in the room.

Would definitely recommend!

Everyone should stay here. We stayed in the Antiquarian’s house and it really is a small, furnished, fully stocked home with everything you could need. From the moment we arrived the service was amazing. You do not have to deal with your bags at all, which is great because there are a lot of stairs. We had our own pool/hot tub which was great because during the day they would make it cold and then hot at night to relax. Breakfast was vast and delicious. The hotel crew there is so hard working and will do anything to make your stay perfect. One important thing about this hotel is that it is at the end of the walking path that goes through Oia which is awesome because there are not many hotels there and it is one of the few where you can sit and watch the sunset. Hotels further in Oia face the opposite way towards the caldera so you cannot sit on your balcony and watch the sunset...that was important to us since hotels there are expensive and we wanted to make sure we had the best view...we for sure got it!! The walk is short to the main center of town and we did it about 4 times a day and enjoyed it each time. The room was downstairs almost in a cave which was awesome because it was so quiet and nice and cool.

Room Tip: While there my Husband and I tried to decide the best room and we really think the best choice is th...

Dear JordanB,
Thank you for the lovely review.
We are so glad you enjoyed the Antiquarian’s House so much. The downstairs room used to be a large cistern and was transformed into a bedroom with its own bathroom. When we were digging out the bathroom area we found a large round rock which is now the TV table!

we stayed at the Fishermans Cabin for 4 nights, the view was fantastic and we couldn”t wait to get back to the hotel to admire it!!! We had a pool very close to our ”cabin”, but in may the water was rather cold. Instead, the bed was very comfy and cozy, perfect for a couple retreat from daily stressful life. The service was ok, but we had to wait a little for our dinner order, there were a lot of stairs to climb in order for the waiter to get right to our cabin! We had a little kitchen of our own with fridge, water and everything else. The hotel wine was absolutely memorable, the personnel was very helpful and every other detail just contributed to our perfect little dream vacation! If you like quiet, classy appartments, pampering, and breathtaking views, just go there! I know we will come back!

Dear Irina V,
We are honored to have been a part of your “perfect little dream vacation”!
It is a shame the weather in May this year was so cool that you were not able to enjoy the pool but hopefully when you come back we will be able to arrange for better weather :)

Very nice place! Very functional. Room is more like an apartment which is really convenient. You can just buy few things at the local market and then enjoy the sunset from your terrace.
Perfectly located with amazing view on the village.
Delicious breakfast.
Hyper friendly staff. We had issues flying to the island because of bad weather conditions but the owners have been really helpful and understanding.
Expensive but I guess this is also Santorini...

Dear Carlottafromparis,
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at IKIES and that the room was convenient and functional for you.
The houses were actually built as summer homes but the property was eventually turned into a small hotel.
