My fiancee and I got engaged while staying at Alexander's. The staff, and the property itself, were amazing in making this a weekend we'll never forget. From decorating our room with rose petals, champagne, and fruit, to assisting with a romantic picnic, Alexander's went above and beyond in every way. We can't wait to return someday!

We had a wide choice when deciding to stay in Santorini but somehow our gut feeling and your site helped us make our decision and it was such a great one.
The rooms and service are grea !!t very acessible without being in the middle of things. Really enjoyed and as promised we will stay with you whenever we visit again.

Our family spent the 2008 Thanksgiving holiday at Alexander's and it was a superlative experience from start to finish. We had the hotel arrange for our pick up at the airport and, after a hectic departure from Athens, it was wonderful to have a cab ready and waiting to whisk us away to Alexander's. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and taken to our villa, the Imperial Suite which we were able to book at a great rate as it was low season.
The villa is both elegant and inviting and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. This villa would be ideal for anyone with mobility problems as it is on street level but still has that amazing caldera view.

Alexander and his staff were fantastic hosts. Breakfast was served on our terrace and the freshly prepared eggs, Greek yogurt with honey, fresh fruit and pastries were delicious. We especially enjoyed going with Alexander to his favorite tavernas where he introduced us to glorious Greek food and wine. Everything was done to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. We had many wonderful experiences in Greece but our memories of Santorini and Alexander's superb hotel are at the top of our list. We were blessed with great weather during our stay and loved the peace and quiet of Oia in the low season.

My wife and I stayed for four nights in the Imperial Suite at Alexander's Boutique Hotel in Oia from the end of October and in early November. The hotel is a true gem and the service was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel and the town of Oia, particularly for a romantic getaway and especially in the fall or spring when the weather is not so hot.

Because the low season starts in November, many of the other hotels in Oia were closed, we were fortunate to happen upon Alexander's. Not only did the staff and the owner himself work with us regarding which room we wanted and work within our budget, they were very helpful regarding information on excursions, activities and restaurants. The staff were personable and engaging, and we took the opportunity to talk to them and get to know them as well.

While the hotel is perhaps 1/2 km from the heart of Oia, the views from the hotel of the caldera and especially the sunsets are breath-taking. The suite had its own large balcony with a jacuzzi and lawn chairs, and we took every effort to view the sunset from the balcony every night. Breakfast was served complete with white linens on the balcony every morning. We found that we could not get enough of enjoying the view of Oia and the caldera from the balcony

The suite was well appointed with many nice touches, such as robes and slippers, a full kitchen and satellite TV. It is clear that much thought has gone into the decoration of the suite with antique furniture and a deliberate style. Although the hotel is right off of one of the roads into town, the road noise was not loud. I had trouble getting the wireless internet, but that is really the only thing that was not splendid there.

The hotel turned a good vacation into a great one, and we still rave over the hotel to our friends about what a great find it was.

My sister had never been to Santorini nor Greece before, so I wanted our experience to be unforgettable. I called Alexanders boutique hotel and cave villas office directly, and got the owner Alexander himself. He assured me that they would take care of us, not only with hotel accomodations, but with any other details we needed worked out. I felt completely at peace about going, after our friendly conversation and was assured that we would be taken care of. Upon arriving, we were picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel which is about 20-25 minutes away. Unfortunately, mere words are not capable of accurately describing what kind of beauty this boutique hotel is nestled in. It is beyond stunning, and more than I could have hoped for. We arrived with another couple, and the hotel staff took care of all of our individual concerns, questions, and needs.
We received personal attention, and felt more like we were staying with friends rather than a hotel.
Our villa (diamond) is decorated with antique treasures, and upon walking in, you immediately feel the comfort of an old beloved home, as well as the ancient charm of being tucked away into the side of a mountain.
The views will not dissapoint, and we could not take enough pictures. We were given all the information we needed about transportation, restaurants, shopping, spas, coffee shops, even how to watch my fiances basketball game on cable which was being played in France. The morning breakfast spread on the table outside our door, overlooking a most majestic panoramic view of bliss was something we will never forget.
I plan on taking my future (greek) husband there, my parents, the rest of my family, as well as any friends to this very spot again and again in the future.
It is in walking distance to the nearby town of OIA, which has incredibly unique charm in and of itself.
The peace and tranquility offered in this corner of paradise is unmatched, and I highly reccomend taking whatever measures necessary to get to this boutiqe hotel!!
Happy travels!

The utterly stunning view and golden sunsets are barely the the most obvious virtues of Alexander's Boutique Hotel.

As one walks through the lovely gate to the villas, one is welcomed by the incredible warmth that Alexander has infused the place with. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and very helpful.

The rooms themselves are amazing and very very cozy with wonderful antiques and beautiful furniture. Everything from the bed nestled into an alcove to the intricate pan hanging in the kitchen is akin to something drawn from a dream.

Would highly recommend this place to anyone who wishes to leave a wonderful memory in their lives.
