The House of the Singing Birds is the place to be when you're visiting Santorini. First and foremost due to Eleni & Costas - it doesn't get any better when it comes to hospitality! From the very first warm welcome to the last second, when we - after 7 perfect days and nights - had to leave this beautiful gem! We came as guests and left as friends. That is much more than you can expect from a picture perfect holiday... The old winery and especially the House of the Singing Birds is a magic place - it is cozy, welcoming and makes you feel at home right from the start. Everything is at least as shown in the pictures (or even better) - very well maintained and spotlessly clean. We loved the tiny kitchen (equipped with everything you need to make a romantic dinner) and the terrace on top with a fantastic view on the ocean. The place is idyllic and very quiet,with a wonderful church right in the back and Finikia is just lovely. It is a nice and easy 15 minute walk to Oia. We especially appreciated the little talks to Eleni & Costas and the secrets they shared with us: from famous last wine bottles in hidden supermarkets (Hatzidaikis Pyrgos 2010!!!) to incredible swimming spots - not to forget the secret late night shuttle to Thirassia to enjoy a free concert with incredibly talented opera singers from Athens. The old winery is so beautiful - no wonder: Eleni is an amazing architect - Chapeau! You can tell it from every little detail (thanks for the flowers!) Highly recommended: a wine tasting at Sigalas Winery - one of the top winerys in Santorini, located in Finikia. Try the Nyxtepi (Nychteri)!!! And if you're looking for an amazing restaurant, hop in the car and make your way to Kamari: Restaurant Elia at Bellonias Villas is highly recommended. We also enjoyed some fantastic meals at Selene (Pyrgos) and at Melinas (Akrotiri Beach). Eleni & Costas - we will meet again. Promised! Thank you for everything - you are amazing!

It's a wonderful house in a great place! It's in a silent village (Finikia) far from the most touristic places but close to Ia, one of the best part of Santorini.
The house is really pretty, clean and well organized, with a great terrace where you can admire awesome sunsets and lots of stars at night. Outside there's a garden with tasty grapes and an owen for great dinners and happenings in general, and a small pool.
Heleni and Costas are simply incredible, both are generous people, ready to help you in every moment and situation. We really loved them!
We suggest this house for those who are looking for a relaxing holiday in Santorini!

If you're looking for a nice peaceful place in Santorini far from all the tourists traps, then "The house of the singing birds" is the right place for you.
We have been welcomed by an adorable couple, Eleni and Costas who are always available for good advices and for tips regarding nice beaches, good restaurants and beautiful villages to discover. We stay there for 5 days and thanks to them we were able to discover a lot about Santorini. The house is amazing, traditional and has all the confort you need but also Eleni and Costas are great people.
In addition to a beautiful place for a couple, we were delighted to discover this traditional house where everything has been made in order to not distort the place and let the soul of "the house of the singing birds" intact!
We had an amazing time in Santorini thanks to them and their unique hospitality. 100% recommendable, it would be a big mistake not to choose the "House of the singing birds"!
