Everything was excellent: service, accommodation, food, pool, view etc etc. This is how a hotel should be run and we'd certainly return. If I have to look for any disadvantages, there are a lot of steps from the pool/restaurant to reception (no lift possible because of the way it's built into the side of the Caldera), so not too good if this would cause you a problem. The walk to Oia village is only about 5 minutes, but there's no pavement - but again, that's hardly a problem and worth it for the situation of the hotel, which is extremely peaceful, being slightly away from Oia, which can get very busy in July and August. A superb retreat, with beautiful views and excellent service, fantastic food, lovely rooms and very helpful staff!

Room Tip: We had room 9, a senior suite next to the pool and restaurant, so didn't have to keep going up a...

The Kirini Suites & Spa was one of the best hotels I experienced. It is a very nice place to be. They concern about every step of our stay, and make it unforgettable. The rooms, pool, restaurant, breakfast, spa, and so on, is carefully prepared. But something really is differential: the service and hospitality. I recommend!

Room Tip: The wet junior suites are awesome.

Our stay at Kirini was fantastic! My husband and I adored the property and the staff. We both agreed that we have not experienced such brilliant service at any other 5 star property we have stayed at around the world. The staff were extremely attentive with out being intrusive, no request was too much trouble. From the moment we arrived, until we were dropped off at the airport, Eva and her team on the front desk, the amazing man who carried our heavy luggage down and up the steps, the shuttle drivers, the staff at the poolside breakfast, especially Arthur, were all fabulous, friendly and super efficient. The breakfast itself was incredible, we also had lunch around the pool which was fabulous. I have an allergy to gluten and the chef and staff served up the best menu selections all tasting incredible. I felt spoilt rather than an inconvenience which is how you are sometimes treated with food intolerances. The hotel rooms, we experienced two as we were offered a very unexpected and very much appreciated upgrade from a Junior suite to a suite with a Jacuzzi on the deck, were adorable and were everything I expected them to be from the photos and other reviews. While pictures can capture the breathtaking views ,from your own eyes the vista is even more magnificent, it's hard to take your eyes away, greedy to take in as much as you can. The beds were extremely comfortable, rivalled my own at home which I thought I loved the best... now I'm not so sure. I hope to go back to this beautiful charming property and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Our holiday at Kirini far surpassed our expectations! I envy you if you are about to book. I wish it were me!

Room Tip: We had rooms 14 & 21 both were on the left hand side of the resort looking out to at the Caldera...

I almost don't want to review this as my husband and I loved this place so much we want to keep it a secret! We came in April for our honeymoon and were the first guests of the season. We stayed in the Senior Suite which was perfect for us. We loved everything about this place - from the rooms, to the ala-carte buffet breakfast (Greek salad was the best I've had anywhere, and so was the frappe coffee!), to the pool... not forgetting the service! Everyone was just so incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. Eva (the manager) was amazing too, she checked in on us everyday, gave us great recommendations for outside restaurants/things to do, and went out of her way to help us. The people here are the epitome of Greek hospitality! We had dinner at the Cave restaurant one night which was fantastic fine dining. Pricier, but worth it. Highly recommended, and we're already planning when we can come back again! Thank you so much Eva and your team for an out of this world experience!

There were more expensive hotels in Oia but I don't see why we would have stayed anywhere else. The location was walking distance to sunset point in Oia, maybe a 20 min walk down a great cobblestone path with shops along the way. From the moment we arrived we felt pampered. The staff greeted us with a smile and ice cold lemonades. We sat on the front porch of the lobby and took it all in as our bags were carried from the shuttle they provided from the airport to our rooms (not an easy walk down all of the stairs). The manager no duty described the resort and amenities to us, told us a little about the island and activities, and then gave us the tour. She was very patient with questions and could not have been more friendly. Our room was beautiful, all white, extremely clean, well stocked with snacks and drinks. We brought a 4 month old infant with us and the staff went out of their way to get a crib from another hotel which they set up quickly. Our stay consisted mostly of enjoying the view and relaxing. We have seen some epic infinity pools before, but Kirini's pool is right up there with the best of them. After enjoying a splendid breakfast spread every morning with fresh squeezed juice, frappes, and omelettes and pastries with local ingredients, we staked out a spot at the pool every morning. They have these wonderful double lounge chairs that look across the pool to the caldera and the bay. The staff is very attentive with drink and food orders throughout the day and we spent hours their swimming, reading, and relaxing. AT nightfall we would walk down to the end of Oia for the sunset. We had dinner at the resort one night. The chef is very creative and the food was locally sourced and delicious, really innovative combinations. The tables for dinner are the same as the tables for breakfast, you can sit on the pool deck and enjoy the views or have a private setting in one of the caves. As an early birthday gift my wife got a massage in the private spa. They only see one person or couple at a time, so you have the whole place to yourself. She really enjoyed this, said the experience was great. We spent 4 days and 3 nights at Kirini Suites. I would go back every year if we could, what an incredibly relaxing trip. The staff was warm and kind, spoke excellent English, and enhanced our experience along the way.

Kirini is such a wonderful place to spend some relaxing days. Everything is perfect: the resort itsself, the breakfast and dining, all people are very friendly and the service is excellent...
We would have liked to stay longer, but for sure we will come back another time.

Room Tip: We only know our room (Nr. 15) and this was good
