A silent and clean room with a wounderfull view in a cute well-preserved willage is really very good. Staf is smiling and helpfull. Two times a day good room service (sometimes even while you are inside). Location is the best of Oia/ Santorini. Only that I can complain is about high prices. I think it should be more reasonable. Thanks for everything.

I have to admit I was very nervous when I booked this hotel. You really never know what you're getting even when you see pictures and I was looking forward to this vacation for a long time. I wanted the room to be perfect and all I can say is that the room and staff EXCEEDED my expectations. Being a business owner myself, I know that customer service is so important and the folks at Art Maisons clearly understand it as well. They were so kind and helpful in every possible way. They helped us with any questions we had, making reservations, setting us up on a phenomenal boat cruise and always making sure we were happy. The room was unbelievable. The Eros Suite is a little pricey but it's totally worth it. Beautiful room, unreal outdoor cave pool, kitchen, great bathroom/shower...just 5-star plus. If you're thinking about Santorini, this is the place to be...oh did i mention the unbelievable sunset views of the caldera from our room? While others were struggling to find spots to shoot the sunsets, we sat drinking wine on our balcony watching unobstructed.

We spent 3 nights in Art Maison Oia Castel. View from our room was really fantastic and we enjoyed 3 great sunsets from one of the best position in the island ! The room had all what we could desire. I won't say it's a superior deluxe accomodation but surely comfortable and fit for a relaxing holiday. Excellent Jacuzzi both in the bathroom and on the terrace
Staff was incredibly kind and professional. Ms Cristina and his colleague (sorry I can't remind the name) were the best staff you can hope to meet in an hotel. Always smiling, professional and ready to solve any kind of problem you could have. If you have in mind to visit Santorini, you must stay in Oia and Oia Castle it's a perfect choice !!

We just returned from our honeymoon in the greek isles (milos, oia, mykonos, xania (in crete) and athens). Each island was so unique (see some of my other posts).

As looking at the hotels in oia, you will realize none of them are cheap, and Arts Maison was our splurge hotel on the trip. We were in the Marine suite, which is the one that the hotel uses on its brochure for the jacuzzi with the view of the sunset. That item alone was worth the price. Everynight you could set in a great whirlpool (not heated, but don't need it to be) and watch an amazing sunset. It was glorious. We stayed for four nights and had an amazing time. The room was great, the service was impicacable. There staff greated us at the drop off point (i would recommend contacting the hotel and paying the 20-25 euro rate per couple to bring you.) They greated us and then helped take our luggage to the hotel. (needed as kinda of a trek). The room was great, free internet, great coffee machine that i used non-stop. The included breakfast had a bread selection, coffee and juice, plus your choise of dacos, cereal, ham/cheese, or hard boiled eggs with olive oil. It was a great breakfast to sit on our (shared patio) or have a private breakfast down near the jucuzzi. Only suggestion to the hotel would be to have a small table in the jucuzzi area to eat the breakfast.

The hotel was right at the central point to watch the sunset, it was nice to sit and watch the sunset, while you could see tons of other people crowd the steps to watch it. In regards to oia, in is soooo much better then fira (much less touristy and just more relaxed). I highly recommend castro as a restaurant, there lamb soulvaki was too die for). 1800 was a little overrate, but great view. I recommend renting a car (not atv) and explore the rest of santorini, the wine trail is good (thought not a big fan of white wine, which they are known for) . the black sand beach was nice, and saw the red sand beach from a distance, but was windy.

It was a great place to say, and highly recommend the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. We stayed at the volcano suite. The room was clean and spacious. Great services from staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, particularly loved the view from the room - we get to see the perfect sunset from the balcony.

We just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. We were celebrating our honeymoon.
To begin, we were met at the ferry by a young man who drove us to the car rental shop. As a perk, we were given a free car rental with the room. This was great as we were able to do some solo exploring of the island. Then, Yannis met us at the post office to carry our luggage to the room. What a luxury! It was a hot day, and having the help was wonderful. He is a pleasant and very kind young man.
We stayed in the Volcano Room. It was great. Clean. Wonderful view of the sunset. Private jacuzzi. My only complaint would that it was hot and mildly humid at times in the room--we didn't like to use the air conditioning too often. (Room was not small but not really huge, either). And, because the Volcano Room is just off the walking path, we could hear people talking at night and in the mornings--so leaving our bedroom window open was difficult at times. The view, though, from the bedroom was idyllic.
Breakfasts were good. Basic but just what we needed. Bread. Jam. Juice. Fruit or yogurt. There was a selection for another breakfast treat--I had muesli and my husband either had hard boiled eggs or some (rusk) bread with feta, tomato and oil.
As a wonderful treat, they loaned us a laptop computer for the day. With a wireless connection, we were able to write a few emails! That was great!
The walk to Amoudi Bay took about 20 minutes. The stairs can be tiring but we were 'slow and steady'. Swimming was really great down there! Would highly recommend it! Get there early to avoid the crowds. It can get very busy down there!
We found a great (downstairs) patisserie on the main street of Oia. They served the best olive buns and baklava!
Overall, it was a wonderful visit to a truly enchanted place.

From the moment we stepped off our bus the outstanding service begun. Our luggage was carried for us whilst we were shown the way through the lovely streets of Oia to our hotel room. The views are a-mazing!!!! You will never get the same anywhere else in the world we are sure. The room was like something you would find in a palace. The furnishings were exquisite and beautiful to look at, comfortable to use. The indoor pool was very romantic and we loved the hydrotherapy room/shower. The service continued to be spectacular throughout our stay - from giving us a thorough tour of our room on arrival to delievering delicious breakfasts and tidying up for us twice daily. They were also very friendly people and interesting to converse with. All in all 10 out of 10 all round and we are already planning our return trip! This time we stayed in the Eros Suite. Next time we are keen for the Sunset Suite! All of the rooms look very special... Thanks Oia Castle Hotel for making the last part of our Greece escape so memorable - Steph and Gavin Evans
