“Stay here if you want the best of the best”

First of all - there is no sunset like the ones in Santorini and this hotel took it to another level. Everything was great at this place. The view from the rooms are pristine and majestic. This is top of the line for the area and a really great hotel. The rooms are clean, new and they use top of the line fabrics, chairs, lounge chairs and great sheets too. The service was fantastic. Our room came with a jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful waters. Two pools one more private and the other more social. Next: the food, incredible. We did our research and went to some great restaurants but in all seriousness the lunches and dinner at this hotel were better. The lunch place by the pool had incredibly good food and their sushi restaurant Asea was really great too. The staff was all professional and very nice too. It's a small boutique hotel and worth every penny but know the rooms aren't cheap. Stay here if you want the best of the best. Again, did I mention how good the food was at the hotel?

Room Tip: Any room with a view will be awesome I am pretty sure...hard to get a bad view with the layout of th...

We had never been to Santorini before, it was truly beautiful. Mystique is a superb property sitting on the slopes overlooking magnificent water and islands in the distance. Wake up to a breathtaking view over total tranquility, wander down to breakfast, or up to the Captains Club, and enjoy fine dining the Mystique way. Ask José where to dine in Oia and he will send you to some of the best restaurants in Greece ! Watch the porter carry your heavy luggage, 3 cases minimum, up and down those famous steps. Nothing is too much for the staff at Mystique. Pick your room though, worth having ones with the spa and the good view at the front and on the lower level. Take an easy stroll along to the end of the peninsula and watch the sunset, then eat dinner at one of many restaurants before grabbing a Gelato for the beautiful walk back past all the splendid villas and Hotels.

Oia is only a brief taxi ride to the rest of Santorini, a wonderful base surrounded by spectacular scenery, do yourself a favour and stay at Mystique, it is SIMPLY SUPERB.

Room Tip: Low level at the front with a spa and windows at the front, not the ones built right into the cliff...

We were booked into this hotel by another who had double booked us. The other hotel was fantastic in booking this for us at such short notice and the arrangement gave us a villa suite upgrade which was fantastic. This boutique hotel is very much 5 star and deserves this star rating., Staff amazing, food excellent and views fantastic over the caldera.
BUT if you are not fit, then the 85 steps to our villa, close to the bar and pool could be a bit of a deal breaker. It was very hot last week when we were there, so the 85steps were a bit of a challenge, other than that fantastic.

Room Tip: all rooms have great views, they just vary in size and therefore price.

This is the perfect honeymoon hotel even if yours is long past and celebrated, always a place worth coming back to. Only difficulty is to actually find the hotel. We drove past twice before being given the Alexander hotel as a landmark to spot.

The porters were there to pick up our bags and take them to our room which is no mean feast considering the stairs. We loved our room (number 1) which had a very pretty attic, a giant terrace and a smallish bedroom. It certainly wasn't the largest room but the view from the bed by far compensated the size. It did register very high on the charm scale.

We enjoyed the greek yogurt with honey for breakfast and the greek options on the menu. Definitely a place we would love to come back to before long. Beautiful.

Mystique in Santorini was a dream come true. I will tell you that when my wife and I saw the photos on the website, we were already in awe. Seeing it in person was even better. You will need to designate one whole day to spend on your balcony and in the infinity pool to cherish the view of the Caldera. We travel a lot, and coming across a view like this is hard to find. Breathtaking and incredible. As if the views from this resort and the awesome rooms situated in the side of a cliff in a cave with bathtubs large enough to accommodate Shaq aren't enough, the hospitality is EASILY, the best that my wife and I have ever experienced. From the moment you step foot on the property, all of the staff goes above and beyond, and treats you like a celebrity. Of worthy mention is the hotel manager, Dragonita, who made my wife and I feel like jay-z and beyonce, literally. Upon arrival, there was a little confusion about our arrival date, which was really not a big deal, so she comped our lunch. During another day when laying out in the sun, she sent us a complimentary bottle of rose champagne and sushi, reason being that "their only obligation was for us to enjoy out time." The sommelier George was also awesome and very knowledgeable. We highly recommend his wine tasting in the cave at Mystique; his pours are as generous as all the staff on the resort. Athena, Eleanora, Vaso, Savvas and Eric will all take great care of you. Although the views provided at the resort were unbelievably surreal, the hospitality at this resort is what will bring us back! Check out the Greek street food in Oia next to the ATM machine down the side street. Incredible prices for high quality Greek food.

Stayed here for 2 nights in a Spiritual Suite, which was super spacious and came with its own jacuzzi and gym (!). I've stayed in lots of beautiful hotels around the world and this is by far the best. Where do I start...

Check in and check out was quick and efficient, although they didn't have our room ready earlier than the standard check in time. However, they did give us late check out.

The hotel is conveniently located within a short walk to Oia. There are A LOT of steps to/from/within the hotel so this is not suitable for those who aren't very mobile or active. We didn't mind the exercise but it did get tiring at times.

Breakfast was great and had lots of options. The restaurants at the hotel also has a fantastic lunch and dinner menu.

The hotel provides Korres toiletries which I love. There's also a an Nespresso machine in the room, which was a welcome treat as allowing guests to make coffee in their rooms doesn't seem to be standard in Greek hotels!

The only thing that needs to be improved is wifi in the room. There was no wifi at all in most parts of the room except for the balcony and bathroom.

This hotel is very expensive but I felt that it was worth it.

a place so unique; living in a cave with every luxury. Great food, staff, views, the lot. And it has to be good because Santorini isn't that special. As always the Greek islands have been ruined with the huge crowds of cruise liner passengers. But hidden away Mystique is just the answer.

Room Tip: Get a room close to the bar pool dining area and avoid too many steps!
