“A corner of happiness for those who know”

An incredible little mezedopoleio.. This is the correct word to describe this place!! Amazing appetizers that you wont be able to find in other areas of Santorini!!! I definitely recommend and even more definitely will return there.. Worth of mentioning that the prices are even more stunning than the plates them selves. Easy to find, easy to park, great to eat, great to enjoy a good time with friends. Santorini is missing places like Melitini. Keep the good work guys!!

“Warm ambiance and amazing food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 April 2014

My friend Heather and I were very lucky to find this place during our stay in Oia. First time there, we had coffee and the owners treated us with their specialty: melitinis. We had such a great time that we decided to come back for dinner. Food was simply amazing! Christos, the chef, creates traditional Greek dishes with a touch! The grilled octopus was superb as well as the sausages, salads and bread. Ipatios and Pantelis, the owners, created a place with a real Greek atmosphere and full of very creative details. By the way, these guys are really nice and make you feel like you are at home. If you are planning to visit Oia and would like to try an authentic place without many tourists around, then I highly recommend Melitini. I am planning to return to Oia and I am definitely going to visit this place again and again!

“Real traditional corner!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2014

I had been lucky to pass by the place at 25th March, a very traditional Greek fest. The chef made the traditional plate , code with garlic sauce, and it was an exceptional version of the traditional recipe. I also tasted some rare cheeses from Naxos and an also well grilled octopus.
Would strongly recommended for people that want to try the real traditional food that is not influenced by the touristic invasion. And all this in a very friendly and warm ambiance.
Well done bosses!

“GRANDMOTHERS RECIPES, RECREATED BY SOULFUL NEW GENERATION”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 March 2014

As soon as one steps into MELITINI you get a smell of grandmothers kitchen and most importantly, feeding the world through lovefood and family vibe, the place is all hand created
by the owners with a precise and deliberate atmosphere of an era that is on the way to history books of cafés filled with the old Greek men meeting to discuss nothing or maybe the days hard fishing for coffee and raki and of course a traditional pastry called melitini, thus the apply named restaurant, if your in Oia, Santorini island do yourself a favour and go say hello to Takis, Paselis or the chef Christos and feel the magic at work that is MELITINI restaurant ......
