We had read good reviews and thought that the back-of-the-car-park location would mean good value, too. We were not impressed. Portions of food were tiny. We had a barely visible portion of ceviche, a small bowl of black pasta with spicy prawns and 3 mini slider burgers. We shared a rather over-cooked chocolate pudding. Wine by the glass was 10 euro for one only and a closely measured small glass. With a bottle of water on top the bill was well over the 100 euro mark, even with a shared starter, a shared pudding and no sides. Style over substance.

I love good food and enjoyed many of my meals in Greece. I have to say that Fino was my favorite restaurant in Oia. Delicious cocktails, great wine, and amazing food! You will love it!

Whilst in Santorini we stayed in Fira, meaning on our trip to Oia we wanted to ensure that our meal would be something worth the hot bus journey. We turned to Trip Advisor and came across Fino so we booked it for that night.

Up a side street near the bus terminal you will find Fino, a well decorated restaurant with a romantic feel - we loved the jazz versions of modern chart songs they played! We were greeted by a warm and friendly host/manager who asked where we would like to sit and presented us with the cocktail list and menu and some nibbles of crackers with olives and fish roe mousse - delicious. In terms of cocktails we chose the Fino and the Ginger Cocktail - both so good! For starter we chose to share the lobster spring rolls, they were not at all what we expected but that was a good thing! They were amazing, and a perfect amount to share. For our main courses we chose the salmon fillet and the prawn taglioni, both cooked to perfection and really enjoyable! We were then tempted to the deconstructed mille-feuille, which was so good that you know it's bad for you!!!

Having enjoyed our meal so much we returned three nights later! This time we were greeted as though we were regulars - which was nice.

This time we, again, had the Ginger Cocktail and one with mint and elderflower which was delicious (but the name escapes me). We also chose to share the lobster spring rolls again and they were just as good as before. For our main course we decided to share the prawn taglioni and the black angus burgers. The pasta was just as good as the first time around, and the burgers were simply amazing! The best burgers we have ever had! It was also great to be asked how you'd like your burgers to be cooked. When we thought we couldn't fit in another mouthful, the host/manager brought us out a complimentary deconstructed mille-feuille (we miraculously found room!)

Both visits were faultless - the food, the cocktails, the service and the most welcoming staff. Without a doubt the best meals we had in Santorini! Thanks so much!

We had a fantastic night here everything from the food to the staff to the location which were all outstanding. Yes you don't get a view of the sunset as it's hidden up a lane round from the bus stop but the restaurant is beautifully decorated and inviting. They turned several people away as they were fully booked while we was there so booking in advance is a must.

We started with the lobster spring rolls which were lovely and very different to what we thought they would be but were amazing you get 6 which is really good so have the option to share which we did and the price was very good.

We both had a cocktail each my parter went for the fino cocktail which she enjoyed and I had the ginger cocktail which was beautiful and refreshing.

The mains my parter had the prawns with pasta which she enjoyed very much I went with the salmon and veg which was perfectly cook and the biggest salmon fillet I've had in a restaurant haha.

We then finished off with the deconstructed Mille-feuille which was to die for.

Overall we had a lovely night so much so with the great hard working attentive staff as we left we decided to book for Monday night aswell as it was easily the best meal we've had since we been in santorni and we can't wait to go back.
