Amazing. Room is clean and we love the natural cooling inside the room. Fabulous sunset view right outside our room. The owner, Irini, her father and mother all are very helpful and friendly. We enjoy our stay very much.

This place was absolutely amazing.

The staff was beyond helpful: they called a taxi for us when we needed one, let us borrow their personal umbrellas when it rained, helped us find a four wheeler when we wanted to rent one, gave us a map and bus schedule, told us where the closest grocery store was, etc.

The room was awesome. very clean and spacious. It had a small safe deposit box where you could lock up your passport and other important things. The wifi was spot on. It had an AC unit that you could fully control. The TV had some ok channels. The room even had a little kitchen area. The staff leaves milk and orange juice in the refrigerator and gives you pre packaged chocolate croissants and crackers to have for breakfast or just a snack. There is a nice patio area in front of the room so you can sit outside and watch the sunset or hang your towels and bathing suits out to dry. The bathroom was spacious as well. My only complaint is that the ventilation was not that good. For example, when you took a shower there was no curtain or glass door so everything would get wet and it just stayed that way for a long time. There is a tiny window in the bathroom we kept open but that did not prevent everything from staying moist for the majority of the time.
My only other negative comment would have to be the location. We were told the hotel was about a 20-25 minute walk away from all the shops and attractions of Fira, but every time we walked it, it took us about 35-40 minutes to get there. It was a beautiful walk and we did not mind it at all but I think it is important to note it was a little farther out than we had anticipated.

Overall my stay was amazing and I highly recommend this hotel.

Loved this place. Rooms are caves built in to the side of the wall that are decorated simply but prettily and have almost everything you need. The bathroom was especially nice. The welcome we received from Irini's was friendly and warm and she gave us some good tips to help us enjoy our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her or her family.
We had a terrace that overlooked the caldera - the view is breathtaking both during the day and at sunset - and enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks on there.
The pool was lovely, nice and refreshing. Sunbeds were comfortable and the area was clean.
It's only a short taxi ride to fira town centre - or longer walk. There is a supermarket near by to keep the fridge stocked.
Our only gripe was that we felt there wasn't enough storage - 2 hangers in the wardrobe and no drawers so lots of things in piles at the bottom of the wardrobe. This didn't spoil our holiday at all, but if Irini's needed to improve 1 thing that would be it.
Fantastic place to stay, would definitely stay again and can highly recommend.

What a wonderful place with the most fantastic views! We visited last October and had the pool to ourselves most days (though we were a little unlucky with the weather at times with a cool
wind blowing!).

We weren't troubled by any noise despite being on a main road - the location is a little bit out of town but didn't bother us as there is a bus stop over the road.

The rooms were quite comfortable however could have done with a lot more storage space for our clothes - this was really lacking we thought.

Irini and her father can't do enough for you - highly recommended and a bargain price!

We stayed here in 2008, 2011, and 2013 with a return visit planned in 2014 - and probably 2015.
An amazing place, overlooking the caldera for some of the BEST sunsets in Santorini (better than Oia - without the crowds). The accommodation is typical Greek style for Santorini - rooms are dug into the side of the cliff and are very clean and comfortable with free wifi. There is a small kitchen and fridge - self catering is possible with no problem. Irini makes sure that people are well looked after and is very friendly. There is a pool on the upper (reception) level which on some days is very welcome due to the heat. Zorbas (Mexican restaurant) is close by and they do wonderful food with very generous helpings (try their hot salsa!), and just up the road is an amazing bakery - it's almost impossible to get in the door some days due to trays of Greek goodies everywhere. Supermarket is 400 metres towards Fira, and in the opposite direction is Santos Wines, so even though Villa Irini is not in the main tourist area of Fira, there are plenty of places nearby to stock up. It's an easy walk to Fira - about 15-20 minutes or catch the local bus or a taxi. Car hire at good rates can also be organised at Villa Irini. An excellent spot to spend a week or so at a time and use it as a base, dining out some nights and others just self catering and watching the sunset.

Service, people, cleannes of appartments was excellent. Too bad Villa Irini is abit secluded from restaurants. Even though Zorba and a new greek place is within a minute walk other restaurants and bars can only be reached by public transport or car.
If you want the view Caldera this is one of the best places. If you want a bit more choice you'll need to stay in Fira or Oia.
Appartments very spacious and good shower and beds. Everyday cleaning and owners are super friendly and want to help with anything.
My wife forgot a dress and owners made sure she got it back by sending to our home address.
