This hotel gave us pleasant stay and utmost hospitality. Owners Irene and Dimitris did everything for our satisfaction. From the day of booking they been in contact with us and asked questions for our best accommodation. This family business is an example for big hotels.

We had three nights here. We had room No.1 which is at the front of the pension. It's a lovely large room, divided into a sitting room and bedroom which has a queen bed plus a single. There is a fridge and kettle and cups and a couch and coffee table. On the verandah there is a table and chairs which overlooks the nice garden. There is also a clothesline attached to the wall which is very handy.
The mattress and pillows are very comfortable. The shower is hot and strong. There is no shower curtain or screen. Everything is spotlessly clean. The back garden is lovely too with aviaries with the beautiful sound of chirping birds.
The location is about a 15 minute walk into the town.
The family are all very nice and friendly and helpful. Irene speaks very good English and is very helpful with advice on what to do and see and recommended a restaurant which we visited twice.
Wifi is good.
If you are sensitive to road noise request a room away from the road.

We stayed 4 nights and were happy with our stay.

Pros: large room, hosts were incredibly nice (they picked us up from athinios port at midnight, and dropped us off at the port after our stay, even though we checked out at noon and needed a ride for 7:30pm). A fairly quiet lacation as well.

Cons: No shower curtain in bathroom so it takes some practice not to get water everywhere! The walk into town is down a road with fairly heavy traffic and no sidewalks, but you get used to it (we saw old ladies managing just fine so it isn't that bad)

This place is excellent value, the rooms are clean and comfortable and reasonably quiet. The location is a short walk to restaurants, cafes and shops and the owners are really helpful with travel tips and especially with transport to and from the port. Well recommended.

We stayed for only one night and got treated like family.
The best part in this place, is the staff, What a lovely family! so helpful and nice.
The husband picked us from the port on arrival, the wife explained about the place and recommended few things such as restaurants, attractions, etc.
The room is VERY spacious and decorated with nice traditional style.
In the last day we got stuck with no cab able to pick us up before the ferry leaves, and the husband took us to the port and didn't want to get paid for.
Highly recommended for the budget traveler, or someone that want some quiet from the main center.

Room Tip: Rooms that are a bit far from the road are quiter
