Away from the touristy riff raff of Thira was a bonus and we were greeted by the lady who seemed to be the owner! She was nice considering she was the only person waitering 8 tables and we were very lucky to get a table without a booking. There must book to eat here! Food was quite nice and it was very affordable.

This restaurant was very highly rated on this site so we knew it couldn't be too bad...

The restaurant kitchen closes at half ten which is something to be mindful of...

A place to visit for food when in Fira for sure...

We had a really nice meal and plenty of freebies throughout the meal.... free visanto & ice cream for dessert...

This was one of the best meals I had in Greece, and this was after dining in some of the best restaurants in Spetses, Athens, & Santorini. It's a tiny unassuming place, which looks quite us appealing, but the food was superb. Lovely homemade bread (on the house, which is unusual in Greece), superb grilled feta starter and delicious grilled lamb ribs for the main. To finish off the meal we were given tasty icy chocs free of charge!

The owner was a very talkative lady who really made us feel at home. Excellent.

We were lucky in locating this restaurant as it was behind our accommodation (aria lito mansion, also lovely). We hadn't booked a table but we arrived early enough to snap the last one. The maitre'd, also the owner, made us feel very welcome. In her own way introducing us to the other diners who were already seated. The food was exceptional and on top of what we ordered we were given complimentary home made bread, dolmades and ice cream. Then when the bill arrived we were pleasantly surprised, easily the best food we have eaten so far and the cheapest. Highly recommend it.

It's not easy too find it (in fact, we found it when we were trying to find a way out of Fira's mess) but, once we get there, we knew we were in good hands.
The owner is very friendly and has a gift to treat everyone as their long lost friends. Be prepared to be met with greets and cheers.
It serves housemaid tasty typical greek slow-food and it is very good.
Reservations required.
