If it's a special meal with quality then this is one of 2 to visit and enjoy. The other bring Apiron. However this place is top notch, to say the food is delicious would be to do this place an injustice .
I had the lamb shank and got to say wow !!!! My partner had seafood fetucinni she loved it . For sweet I had cheese cake , don't be fooled by the title, it's more than this , presentation of the whole meal deserves an accolade in itself .
What's the downside ... There's always one , and this place is no exception . It's the ambience, there's not much to be had ,but the food more than makes up for this . Miss this pace at your peril ,,,, but take your visa card with you .

Given the reviews here, I'm guessing this place must be hit or miss. When we went, it was more a miss. The food was okay. Not horrible, but certainly not amazing like some reviewers describe. It was an okay meal, but certainly not one of our best in Fira, and definitely not worth the price.

I guess if you want to go, just hope you are there on a good day!

Large, airy rooms above the caldera. Georgos the most friendly waiter opened the doors to the balcony, and we ran back and forth and took photos of the everchanging sea, sky and islands.
The lambs knuckle marinated in lemon and cooked slowly for 5 hours was to die for. The white fish in saffron as well. This is a great restaurant among others more commercial ...

We had lunch after walking to Fira from our hotel. The calamari and seafood pasta was simply incredible! Everything was incredibly fresh and tasty. We love seafood and this was one of the best we had during this trip! We had a view overlooking the street (Gold St) below and it was a great way to take in the town of Fira.

Sounded like a good start. Famed chefs from the island setting up a "bistro-nomie" place in Fira. Despite the good service, we were disappointed. Very cold decoration. Food not up to par. Putting spices does not make you gourmet, especially when to hide quality of base product. And serving frozen seafood is just unacceptable for such a place!!! Pretending is not being. Go to Anogi instead (which delivers the famed claim) or to some fisherman's shack (where you'll get real seafood).
