We absolutely loved this place. It' just a five minute walk from the center of town and all the restaurants but it felt a little quieter and more peaceful. The rooms are lovingly decorated in a charming, authentic, but elegant Grecian style and we LOVED our private hot tub overlooking the ocean. There's no swimming pool but several rooms have private hot tubs out on the decks. Some rooms also have decks with lounge chairs whereas others only have space for deck chairs. There is a variety in terms of the size of the rooms and outdoor space and what you get, so I would ask about the specifics before picking something. The service was also excellent and there's a lovely little cafe and the views are just stunning. The only negative things I can think of are the beds were a little hard and the breakfasts were hardy but not as tasty as other breakfast buffets, however these things don't bother me much. Overall I highly recommend Cori Rigas!

My mother, sister and I had the pleasure of staying here in late July. Prior to our arrival we organized transportation through the hotel which went seamlessly despite our ferry arriving very late. Once at the hotel we were met at the drop off point by a staff member who graciously carried all 3 of our bags down to the hotel. Check in again went very smoothly with a very hospitable Sasa. Although we decided last minute that we wanted to rent a car and it was no problem at all and Sasa swiftly made the reservations for us. The initial impression left was wonderful overall. We were shown to our room which was a short walk from the main office/breakfast area. Through the first door was a quaint courtyard with fresh grape vines intertwined above. We were aquatinted with our room and informed that there were 2 upper level terraces available to us. The clean, spacious, and well laid out we had no complaints whatsoever. We seemed to have the courtyard and the terraces to ourselves which was wonderful as the views were truly breathtaking. Yes breakfast is very simple but if you ask for more of any item they are very generous. It was adequate enough to start the day. We found that there were several ways up to the main road some shorter than others. Yes there is a little bit of a walk but nowhere near unbearable even in the July heat. We would not hesitate to stay here again, and will definitely do so on a return trip.

The hotel is Average
Good points:
1)Bar with a great view ,
2)Rooms are big and spacious.
3) The view is breathtaking , no doubt. But thats with most of the hotels in Santorini Fira.
Bad points:
1) Have to walk a lot from the road, Please with kids especially , beware.
2) Rooms have marble flooring, and gets really cold at night. Not suitable for this place.
3) Breakfast is ridiculous. They give only Milk, Juice, Bread/Cake... That's all, they are actually cheating by saying that breakfast included.

My wife and I stayed at Cori Rigas in early October 2012. We were visiting Santorini for a wedding and found it to be quite possibly the most beautiful place on earth. Even though we got in very early, Cori Rigas arranged for us to be transferred from the airport, met at the top of the stairs and checked into our room before reception was even open. We stayed in a Senior Suite and had what I would guess to be one of the best private balconies on the island. It was very large with multiple levels including a private hot tub, table and chairs, beach chairs, large shade and a breathtaking view. The room was very spacious and well put together. The bathroom and bed were both fairly small, but I think that is to be expected across the island. Highlight of stay at Cori Rigas (besides view) was probably the breakfast. We got to pick out what we wanted and when we wanted it delivered to our balcony and loved the fresh squeezed orange juice and chocolate crepes. We can't recommend Cori Rigas enough!

We spent 4 nights at the Cori Rigas Suites found it very enjoyable. The breakfast was fantastic (fresh-squeezed o.j. and the chocolate crepes especially!) and the staff were very friendly and professional. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel as a very good value. The location is away from the loud clubs and smelly donkeys and close to the church and the town square. Also near the bus station which we used to go to the beaches. Don't bother taking a cab as service is very inexpensive and buses run often. Other advice - if you are able, do the hike from Thira to Oia. It takes about 3 hours and is fairly challenging so not for beginners - and make sure to do it early in the morning before the sun comes around. Another tip, the Red Beach is fairly remote and not well-equipped with facilities, but worth the short boat ride out there just to see the incredible coastline from the sea. As well, at that stop can see the Akrotiri ruins which are very worth the 5 euro fee to get in (also is fully covered so nice and cool when exploring).
