We had two weeks on Santorini and this was an excellent base to explore the island. Spotlessly clean, very helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms and the breakfasts were lovely. (Try the home made Yoghurt and Jam)

The pool, like the rest of the hotel, was sparkling clean and if you wanted any help with places to go or eat the staff were happy to help with good suggestions and bookings.

It is only a few minutes walk from the town centre and the main bus stop for the island but just far enough out to be a nice quiet spot. We really enjoyed our fortnight there.

Room Tip: If you pay a bit extra you get a view of the volcano rather than the pool.

The room was really clean and spatious. Thats the first thing we noticed after 10 days on a boat.
But it was really nice!
Lovely staff, traditional room with the rounded ceiling, we had a balcony with a nice view.
We also had a lovely time at the pool, wich was really clean and it was also sheltered from the street behind a wall for our comfort.
Great Wifi, even by the pool.
The breakfast selection was quite good and the coffe not too shabby.
Overall it was a great experience.

Close to town and grocery store. Very hospitable and friendly staff; family run hotel.breakfast has good selection. The only downside is the shower in the bathroom, position in a way that water gets out on the side of the tub. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel to anybody that has plans to visit Santorini.

Room Tip: Rooms on the courtyard inferno of the pool.

Really the title says it all. The stay was quite pleasant. Staff was always very friendly. The room was large, clean, & comfortable. Bathroom was just fine. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Location is average - it's a bit out of the city center, but only a 5-10 minute walk to most places.

We stayed during the low season, so I can't say if all the above would apply to the high season as well.

Located just outside of the very happening town centre area of Fira, this was a nicely located quiet hotel, however i'm very glad i wasn't paying its full price rates.

The room was as expected for the Greek Islands, rather simple, hard bed and poor shower, which is why i was surprised at the reported full price rates - luckily i got a good deal on booking dot com.

The shower was completely hand held, as the wall bracket holding the shower head was broken.

On a positive note, i arrived late evening and although i found no water options in the room (bottled water, even at a price), the town centre being very close offered late night options for food and general supplies.

Unfortunately i was there only the one night, so i wasnt able to experience the pool or other services. However the view in the morning from my room was simply stunning, "overlooking" the bay where the ferry's are.

The free ride to the ferry was very helpful and friendly, make sure you make the most of this, as the taxi drivers on the island can rip you off if you're not switched on

We stayed at this hotel as part of our two week honeymoon of Greece and Turkey and it was, hands down, our favorite hotel!

Our room had a beautiful view of both coasts, and we spent every night watching the sunset on our balcony. While some reviews we had read, complained about the noise from the street, we didn't find that this negatively impacted our stay. It was only noisy when you were on the balcony but we enjoyed watching people walk and drive by, including watching the donkeys heading to and from town each day.

It was very convenient being within walking distance to Fira, about a 10 minute walk, with restaurants, and shopping available. In addition, there is a medium size supermarket one block away with anything you would want to purchase to make your own meals. I don't think we would like to be any closer to the town, as we caught a 6:00a.m. shuttle to the ferry on Sunday morning and were surprised when we got outside to hear the disco music still going. We spoke to others on our tour who were in a hotel closer to town who indicated they hadn't slept all night because of the noise. In fact, almost everyone who was in a hotel other than the Astir Thira had complaints about their hotel.

We were also super impressed with the staff here. Both ladies at the desk were incredibly helpful with everything from restaurant suggestions, to directions to stores to buy specific souvenirs, to helping us book a car for the day. In addition, when we accidentally broke the key off in our door lock, it was changed within 10 minutes.

The breakfast was good, decent variety for a hotel of this size and while it was sometimes challenging finding a seat, sharing a table with others was a great way to meet people!

The pool was also beautiful, clean, enough seating, and with rarely anyone using it. Also, this was the only place we stayed with FREE wifi!

As an aside for Santorini first-timers - renting a car is totally worth it! We just did one day and went from end to end of the island and then up to the highest point (not for the faint of heart but worth it!). Navigating is easier than we thought and outside the city driving is very easy

Final advice? make no mistake, this is a boutique hotel: small, quaint, clean and great service. If you are looking for something bigger, than go bigger. If you are looking for a nice, safe hotel to use as your base while you explore this beautiful island, than this is the place for you!

Room Tip: The rooms on the second floor over looking the street have the most incredible views of the sunset...
