“A dream view”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

We had 6 wonderful nights at Nomikos Villas. We had a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment poolside with a fabulous bathroom. Service was superb and special mention must be made of Gigga who makes it all happen, from carrying the luggage to bringing breakfast - and all with such a charming and obliging manner. Definitely 5 star!

My family and I spent 6 memorable nights at Nomikos Villas and would rebook without hesitation. A small establishment of only a dozen or so villas, the staff were welcoming and obliging, especially the lovely Georgian gentleman Gigga (aka Hercules) who couldn't have been more charming, and went out of his way to accommodate any request. The villas are tastefully decorated, roomy and very comfortable with their cave like bathrooms individual and luxurious. A delicious fresh breakfast is served to your outdoor table so all you have to do is enjoy and soak up the view...and they serve good coffee! The location is excellent, within walking distance of Fira and surrounding attractions. This is truly a place you will never forget.

This hotel is in an excellent location - away from the tourist business of Fira but still walkable to great restaurants, small markets, and only 20min walk if you do want the nightlife of Fira. The hotel is not fancy and rather minimalist. However it is clean and comfortable. The TV and phone didn't work but i didn't care. The AC and Wifi were very nice additions. The staff is very sweet and the breakfasts are great. The view from the hotel is not to be believed!

Room Tip: The rooms on the pool level are very convenient but you can hear the bar noise but it isn't open...

I stayed here two nights in September. I hoped the prices would be lower than the height of summer as they were elsewhere in Greece. Unfortunately Fira and Firostefani remain very pricey for a room with a view. My room was actually split level with a sitting area on the ground floor and stairs to a loft with a double bed. The ceiling in the loft was pretty low and there was also a small TV on a night stand.
The was a small fridge in the ground floor room (which needed to be cleaned out after the last guest), couch and sink. The bathroom was also on the ground floor.
There was a large patio in from of this particular room and breakfast was delivered each day to a table there. Breakfast included some fruits, yogurt, bread, cereal, and some cold cuts like ham and cheese. Also coffee or tea depending on your preference.
There was a small pool with lounge chairs and a bar that served refreshing drinks at the end of the day. I will say the views from the room and from the pool area was great and the service was also very helpful. The receptionist arranged for a transfer to the airport and one of the guys carried my suitcase to the main road when it was time to leave.
I really have no big complaints other than for the amount of time one spends in the room or the pool looking at the view realistically is not that long. One could easily stay in one of the beach areas and get one's fill of the view from many of the restaurants on the rim.

Room Tip: If you are traveling with a large group, there are some rooms that are more spacious with dine-in fa...

We only stayed here for one night but this was one of the most beautiful little places we have stayed in. The views are jaw dropping; the service by the excellent staff was fantastic. Our room was so lovely and we even had a hot tub on our balcony. Breakfast was great, such a nice selection and nothing was too much trouble. They also provide complimentary towels when by the pool and they smelled so lovely and fresh.
The little pool was so welcome for a dip; I splashed around in it for ages.
We will definitely go back to stay for longer next time.
If you are ever here in Firostefani, give Mama Fira restaurant a try, bit pricey but worth it
The people of Santorini are so friendly and welcoming. You warm to them and they look after you so well.
The lady on reception offered us a second night as the large room we had booked was available but we had some trips booked and could not stay
Wish I was there right now!!
Will definitely be returning

Me and my boyfriend spent 3 nights here.
The location was fantastic. Walking distance from fira and bus stop out the front.
The view was breathtaking... espescially from our bedroom window. We had water and volacano views. I think we were in room 4, the pool at our doorstep.
The rooms were unusual, but clean and spacious (our favourite hotel in our 2 weeks in the greek islands).
Breakfast is room service which we.opted to eat by the pool everday.
During our stay the whole island had no power or water, I thought it was great that we were still able to get breakfast.
Also that we had candles in our room and set up all around the pool (it was gorgeous).
The staff were helpful and accomodating.

Having spent a full 10 weeks at nomikos in a villa room we feel in a great position to say it excelled in all aspects. While there are many pretty hotels in santorini, the position of being just out of the tourist hub with a totally stunning view from our room our room of the sea was perfect.
Probably the most outstanding feature is the personal quality of the staff and service. Consistently 4 main staff are available to you every day. As we spent a few weeks ill in our room we became very familiar with all of them and felt very cared for. Nicoletta and Lambrose are the first you will meet and are available to answer all your questions, help you in any way you can think of to ask, and are both caring and delightful hosts where nothing is too much trouble (and both have perfect english as well as other languages. Helena spotlessly cleans your room each day and was so caring when we were sick we felt like we had our own personal carer and friend. Gigi works at the bar and wants to carry everything for you and do anything he can to make your stay wonderful. The room was large and airy and even though we were above the pool and bar, by closing the shutters and having airconditioning on we had total silence at night. Breakfast is huge and Gigi carried it to our room at 10.15 every morning. You are 5 minutes from the local village where you can buy all supplies.Nomikos will organise any activities you choose. After 10 weeks we felt extremely sad to leave the staff as they were such genuine and loving people that you felt cared for, safe, and like you were at home while there. Having travelled extensively we both agree that nomikos was the most stand out best of any holiday accommodation we have had and can not rate it more highly. It was by far the best choice we could have made.

Room Tip: rooms with views of the sea are a stand out
