After many years of wanting to travel to the Greek Islands, we finally made it there as part of our recent European adventure. Our whole five days in Santorini was incredible and we couldn’t have been happier to have chosen Aria Suites as our base for this time.

Our flight was a late-night arrival. Aria had contacted us some weeks before arrival to see if we required transport from the airport. We booked the private transfer and it was 40 euro each way. The trip is approximately 15 minutes.

We were met at the property and had our bags collected at the taxi by Michael. This was the beginning of the consistently great service that we were to experience for the next five nights.

At reception we were checked in by Yiota, who was lovely and helped us to our suite, but given the hour was careful not to overload us with information as we were tired.

We awoke on our first morning and stepped outside and our jaws dropped as we enjoyed the gorgeous view from the front of the property down to the Aegean Sea and beyond. Truly spectacular.

Breakfast is served each morning outside of the suite. You simply need to visit Yiota on reception the previous evening and place your order and select your preferred time and it will be delivered to you. We tried a number of the menu items and it was all delicious and if there is a better place to sit and eat breakfast, I’m yet to find it!

After breakfast on our first morning, we visited reception again and met Pavlos who was super helpful in helping us arrange tours and an ATV to zoom around on. He also suggested restaurants for us to try in Fira and recommended a number of places to visit on the island we may not have found on our own. All in all, he was a very friendly wealth of information for our stay.

So, back to the suite. We were in the Tosca suite, which I believe is one of the smaller ones, but is still a really great size. There is a big living and indoor dining area. A large bathroom and a big bedroom with super comfortable bed. There is also loads of storage space, which was great to spread out for our five-night stay. The suite also features two air-conditioning units and a well-stocked mini bar. As water on Santorini is not potable, a plentiful supply of complimentary bottled water is provided.

Just outside of the suite near where you have breakfast there is a beautiful pool area and bar where we enjoyed a few cocktails.

Like I think many people who visit Santorini, we fell in love with it and didn’t want to leave. We did however depart the Island with really great memories. We really are very grateful to Pavlos, Yiota and the rest of the amazing team at Aris Suites who helped make our visit so memorable. If we are lucky enough that our travels one day find us back in Santorini, we’d definitely stay here again.

I researched so many hotels before booking and decided on Aria Suites. I was a little confused with the pics of the balconies but we selected Dolce Far Niente with 2 BR (1 is loft style so keep your suitcases downstairs) The place is beautiful and spotless! The staff is so attentive and the breakfast brought to our veranda was the most incredible part! To start the day with hot coffee and food we selected every night was great.
Yiota and Pavlos in the office was so helpful in booking our excursion for catamaran sailing. Pool was perfect for an afternoon of relaxing with full bar and service in sun or shade.
The housekeeping staff was amazing and even gave me a new, folded and clean robe every time I wore one. Beach bags packed with big, fluffy beach towels with free bottles of water are packed for you every day! No need to bring beach towels or bags. I have never been treated so well in any hotel, no matter what the star ratings were! This is a 5+ star hotel!!

Food: Naoussa Restaurant (which is just above the hotel) was delicious and they had live music and you can ask to break plates for an authentic experience. Staff is fun and kept bringing us carafes of wine!
OUZERI is just up the hill to the right and the service and food great.

Bus stop just behind the cathedral and down the hill is so easy to find and get to any location on the island for around 1.80€. The easiest way to get around.

Room Tip: Dolce Far Niente for views and plenty of room for family. Traditional cave style, very quiet with amazing view of caldera

Our stay with the Aria Suites was wonderful. The staff was very attentive and considerate. Our villa, Carmen, had a fantastic view of the water and pool! We loved the easy access to Fira as well as the staff’s help with setting up other activities around the island. Nothing bad to report!

Aria Suites is an incredible place to stay. It is right off the beaten path and just steps from all the restaurants, shops, bars, etc. Amazing view of the Caldera. Breakfast every morning was served outside (or inside if you prefer) promptly at the time requested. Having your own hot tub on patio was a delight every evening after returning from a long day of touring. Paublo and Fiota is are amazing resources for any thing you need to do or arrange. Both are a huge asset to this hotel. Rented four wheelers for the day and toured lots of the island. Highly recommend this activity.

I highly recommend this hotel! The views are amazing, the staff were
pleasant, friendly and attentive to every detail. They met us at the taxi drop off at the road and took our bags and escorted us down a path to the hotel. We were greeted with a cool refreshing lemonade and then escorted to our suite! We stayed in the Aida suite: large suite with dinging table, living room with extra day bed- good for a thirds person, large bedroom with windows that open east for sunrise and west for caldera view! Best part of this suite is it is upstairs so no noise or foot traffic from pool, Each suite has its own door to the outside overlooking the pool. They brought us a welcome bottle of wine and a fresh fruit plate. Breakfast (including champagne if you desire) you personally order with the front desk the afternoon before and what time you want it delivered. They come and set up breakfast on your veranda for a delightful morning with nice sunshine, cool breeze and of course beautiful views.
Nice turndown service in evening as well. On our check-out day, they provided us with a temporary room to change and have access to the bathroom! A nice thing that allowed us to relax by the pool before leaving later in the day. One fact you might like- Fira can be very busy and this property is located about a block or two past the end of the “touristy “ area, so it is an oasis in of itself, quiet, peaceful and beautiful.
