I could have sat in the spa and stared at the view for days. The room was immaculate, the food was divine and the service was phenomenal, considering Olympic Airlines had scheduled a strike for the day of our departure. The staff informed us of this (as we were oblivious), and were invaluable in helping us rearrange our travel plans.

Everything about this hotel was perfect; the service was excellent, and the view of the caldera from our balcony was amazing! Chrisoula was so helpful, she gave really good suggestions for restaurants to eat at and bars to visit, and she gave us a complimentary upgrade to a jacuzzi suite! The room was really spaceceous and clean. Every morning we were served a really good breakfast on our private balcony. I have no complaints about our stay at the Enigma, I only wish we were there longer than 2 nights!!!

We were looking for a decent accommodation in Santorini that includes all of the island's special experience: the outstanding views of the caldera and the island colours. We found more than that at the hotel Enigma. The venue itself and the stuff exceeded our expectations and made our stay unforgettable. There is nothing more relaxing than having our breakfast served in our balcony every day at the desired time and enjoying it with the extreme views of the caldera.
Everything in this beautiful hotel is so easy. Special thanks to Chrysoula for being so amazingly helpful for our needs.
Enigma is our absolute choice when we return to the island.

Our family of four spent six wonderful days at the Enigma. We could not have asked for better service. Chris and Lisa at the front desk were amazing. They patiently answered my many emails in advance of our trip, made the process of getting ferry and car rental reservations a breeze, and provided us with wonderful restaurant recommendations and other invaluable information about the island. The restaurants that Chris recommended to us at check in turned out to be our favorites of the trip, and LIsa, without even so much as a hint, got us the very best table on a busy night at the Sphinx for what turned out to be a spectacular meal. The view from our jacuzzi suite (Suite 6) was absolutely breathtaking, both night and day. The Enigma is just far enough away from Fira's clubs to permit us to relax on our terrace after dinner without having to deal with the pounding music from the clubs. Having the jacuzzi was a real treat and the pool at neighboring hotel only steps away provided a welcome respite. The breakfasts, which were brought to our room each morning, were excellent, from the delicious orange juice (fresh, of course) to the fantastic croissants. Our breakfast trays were always delivered on time by the very personable Eddie, whose beautiful wife, Anna, insured that our suite was kept immaculately clean. The suite itself had a very spacious living room with two loft bedrooms, a well stocked kitchenette and a large bathroom with a huge shower and loads of counterspace (a necessity for our two teenaged daughters). The bathroom was spotless, with plenty of fluffy towels, lovely bathrobes for each of us and consistently strong water pressure in the shower. All of the beds were very comfortable. One loft had two beds and was equipped with a ladder that worked just fine for our children. (It would have been a bit too tricky a climb for their middle aged parents). This loft had a frosted window overlooking the livingroom that afforded privacy. The second loft had a kingsize master bed and was rather compact, but it had a sturdy, easily navigable staircase and, best of all, a wonderful caldera view. The master loft also overlooked the living room and had a little less privacy, but this didn't pose too much of a problem. It seemed that Lisa and Chris provided lovely touches at every turn, from the welcoming glass of peach tea on check in to the lovely fruit tray and delicious wine that awaited us in our suite at arrival to a spectacular wine and cheese tray on our last evening. A final kudo to the incomparable Armando, who somehow managed to get our luggage back up the many steps and into the van on our departure. (And be forewarned that there are indeed many steps, but that's part of the charm of Santorini!) We had an outstanding stay at the Enigma and are looking forward to a return visit.

We arrived to the Enigma hotel for our honeymoon. The first impression wasn't great as we had booked a room with little privacy (our terrasse was in right in front of a common path and so people just passed right in front of our room) The view was great but the privacy issue bothered us. The girls at the front desk went straight to work trying to provide us with another room that better suited our honeymoon needs. The service and kindness was great and we eventually got what we needed. The hotel is very well situated in the heart of Fira with a breathtaking view of the sea. Fira offered lovely nightlife and restaurants in the evening so I would say it is the place to stay. Enigma hotel also took care of our Sunset cruise, ferry bookings and hotel pickups (for the second part of the honeymoon in Mykonos) , breakfast was served in the room at any hour of the morning until noon. All is all , if I ever were to stay in Santorini , I would def book Enigma again. Only this time make sure that the room is as private as we would like it to be, The service was the best I had ever received from a hotel. Congratulations.

Room Tip: For better privacy , better ask for a room that isn't situated in a common area.
