We spoilt ourselves and stayed at Aroma Suites. The first night we had one of the small rooms up top, with a lovely small terrace. The subsequent nights we moved into the cave. Much larger, with a spa. But you had to come up the stairs to the terrace for breakfast and the views. There was a nearby store and coffee shop, so each morning we got our own breakfast on the terrace. The disadvantage of the cave was the humidity with the spa in the adjacent room. The advantage was the space and the spa.

Room Tip: see above, and ask for the cave if you want a bigger room.

My wife and I were very impressed overall with Aroma Suites. We were particularly impressed with the willingness of managers Christo and Christo to promptly see to our every need, and in providing us with useful advice which went a long way to enriching our overall Santorini experience.

We stayed in Aroma suites for our 2 nights in Santorini. At first we were a little disappointed about not getting accommodation in Oia. But after we got there we quickly realized how centrally we were located to everything. The main bus depot, the old port and the new . The rooms were kept very clean and they were very good about giving us extra towels. We also got a little surpirse on arrival. It seemed that we arrived on the day of Ifaisteia festival which came complete with fireworks on the volcano. The best part was that we enjoyed the spectacle from the courtyard!

As with all of the hotels with great views in Fira, this one sits on the face of the cliff, facing the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. The room wasn't that small, considering. The towels and amenities were pleasant, plus the staff really makes an effort to assure your happiness. I particularly like the option of having breakfast served to your patio. BEAUTIFUL, and plentiful!! Do stay here. I know I will again!

We just stayed at the Aroma Suites. Our first time to Santorini. They upgraded us to "The Cave". It was massive and the spa was really enjoyable for tired legs after a day of walking. They were helpful in booking our Sunset Cruise on the Thalassa and would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a brilliant day out on the Caldera.
The only thing we found disappointing was when we were checking out it was then we were advised they had an adjoining interest in a property with a swimming pool. Would have been nice to from the first day.
There is a sun deck with comfortable outdoor furniture to take up a drink and enjoy the view!
Our room was cleaned every day and we had fresh towels. Location is really good and easy to get around.

When we visited, the entire island of Santorini was suffering from an extended power outage. Despite the intermittent lack of electricity and, occasionally, running water, we had a positive experience. Cristos greeted us warmly and gave us a lot of useful insider information with respect to food and destinations, which was especially appreciated as we didn't do a lot of prior research. The room itself was exactly as expected, with high arched ceilings finished in soft light blue. The room was clean and was cleaned on a daily basis, with fresh linens and towels on each of the three days we were there - we really appreciated the latter given the problem with utilities. The location was also great because all restaurants, shops, and the bus station were within a 5-minute walk, but there was enough distance to allow for some peace and quiet.

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. The room was smelly and dirty. We stayed for 3 days and our sheets and towels were never changed. We would leave our towels on the floor so we could get clean fresh ones but we never did. they would just pick the towels up off the floor and hang them up. We never had clean fresh towels and because the room was so muggy and humid the old wet towels would never dry. also, there is no water pressure in the shower so it was very difficult to shower.
If you want to enjoy your vacation dont stay at this hotel.
