Amerisa suites was a typical family business. All the family was engaged in the hotel services. Overall nice and welcoming and happy to help (especially with parking) as the hotel is right on the street (although they do have an underground small parking). Breakfast in the terrace was a nice meal, like home cooked :) and the room was sort of a duplex simple and clean nothing too special. Location was sort of Ok, but very close to the center of Fira (although the first night we kind of got lost as it was a little dark and the streets looked like the same).I realized there that for the price paid we could have done better, but nothing to ruin our vacations. I wouldn't return to Santorini although because the city is wonderful and very romantic (Fira and especially Oia) but the beaches are crap, sorry but they suck. We finally settled for Kamari which was the less/worse alternative but the sea was not satisfying at all. Oia had really nice water but you couldn't bath over there (tiny uncomfortable places), very crowded.
