Conveniently located 5to10 minutes to Fira town and the bus station this budget hotel is a little gem.Very competitively priced with spotlessly clean rooms, traditional in style,a lovely pool, and a good basic breakfast. What more could you need? You get a lot more....Maria the proprietor is the kindest, sweetest landlady, always smiling and ready to help. We telephoned with our arrival time and her husband met us at the airport and took us there for our return flight. All part of the service!

My friends and I booked two rooms - a triple room and a twin room - through Booking.com. The villa provides complimentary pick-up - Maria's husband picked us up from the port at slightly past midnight and drove us straight to the villa. He was early and it was easy to find him from the crowd as he was holding the villa's card.

Our two rooms were located on separate floors, which was a little inconvenient but it was fine. Both rooms had single beds, airconditioning, cupboards with hangers, complimentary coffee/tea in the room, ensuite toilets, and balconies. The twin room was quite well furnished, to the standards of hotel rooms. However, our triple room resembled more of a hostel with furnishings that were poorer. The toilet in the triple room was small and the shower area was tiny and not really separated from the rest of the toilet which resulted in frequent flooding. Towels were provided, and the rooms were made up every morning.

The location of the villa was good - it is located about 10 minutes away from the centre of Fira where there are lots of shops and restaurants, etc. The bus station of Fira (from which all buses to everywhere leave) is also located there. The villa has a nice looking swimming pool although we did not actually have the time to swim. Breakfast was provided at the villa but it was quite simple - there was a small selection of bread and spreads, ham, hard boiled eggs, cereal and the usual coffee/tea.

Maria and her husband run the entire place by themselves and they live on-site as well. Maria is extremely warm and friendly, and obviously tries her best to help all the guests with any inquiries and recommends places to visit. She also helped arrange our transfer to the airport, where her husband kindly dropped us off at the agreed timing.

I would recommend this villa for its reasonable prices, good location and decent facilities.

The location of this hotel is perfect, near the centre of Fira but in a quiet area. Maria is a lovely host, always smiling and trying to help her guests. The transfer from and to the port, done by Nektarios (Maria's husband) was an incredible plus. The hotel was kept very clean. The room was big and comfortable with two terraces. The pool area is beautiful. Breakfast was very good. Our stay was great! If we return to Santorini some day we will stay in this hotel.

Since we arrive Maria was so nice and helpful with us. Price is really good and location in just 5 min walking from centre of Fira. Hotel is clean.
Breakfast was included in the price and it was enough for us, coffee, tea, bread, juice, mermelade and butter, cornflakes, milk, eggs, jam and cheese and bakeries.
We did enjoy our stay in Vila Koronios.

We stayed here for 4nights on our trip around the islands of Greece and really liked this cute little villa.

It is a short walk to the main city center. There are not that many lights and no pavements on the way into town so just stick to the edges and walk into oncoming traffic. Bit dark but we felt safe there. Never felt like it was dangerous (apart from the fast cars!)

The bus station is really close and tickets to other parts of the island very cheap. We went to Oia for the day and also to Perissa beach.

The pool was lovely and cooling after a long day in the sun. And lots of loungers to sun bathe on.

Our room was clean and tidied every day. The shower was a little small and we did get water everywhere (Sorry Maria!). Maria the host and her husband were so great. Picked us up from the port and then dropped us at the airport (only 10mins away!) when we left.

Awesome.

The only downside is we got bitten by mosquitoes or something but that isn't the villa's fault. They provided a Raid plug in but we didn't use it and we wish we did!
