Adamis Majesty Suites
Ranked #48 of 80 Hotels in Fira
Reviewed 16 September 2012

There are dozens of places to stay in Fira with the beautiful caldera view, but what separates Adamis Majesty from all of the rest are the people. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. My husband and I spent many mornings and evening just talking with everyone. They work very hard to make sure all of your needs are met and make sure that your stay is enjoyable. The room and the property are clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It is close to everything, but it is quiet in the rooms. You can walk to many restaurants, shopping, bus station, cable car, etc. It is also close to street level so there are less stairs than many other hotels. The view from Adamis Majesty is amazing! We saw alot of people trying to sneak in or look over the walls to see our view!!! The only issue we had was with the WIFI. The walls of the rooms are really thick so you had to be outside to get a signal, but with a view like we had, it was a plus!!! I would not hesitate to stay there again. When we left Adamis, it felt like we were leaving friends behind, not just a hotel!!!

An awesome hotel at a perfect location in Fira-Santorini, just 20 steps away from the central path way to Fira with a view of the Caldera!!! Although located at the heart of Fira, it keeps a quiet and elegant character. While all the visitors of the island were trying to get a place (just at the entrance of the hotel) to get a picture of the sunset and the breathtaking setting, we didn't have to bother because we had all these just a few steps away, at our balcony!!! All the members of the staff (Maria and Stelios) and the owner (Dimitra) made us feel at home. The room was very elegant with very expensive furniture and an exquisitevely decorated bathroom. We were very lucky, because even though it was the first time we were visiting Santorini, we stayed at the best hotel with the best setting and hospitality.

My husband and I stayed at Adamis Majesty Suites while on honeymoon last year in the Greek Islands. We only wished we had booked more days with them. The view outside our room was amazing, we kept wanting to come back from our daytrips to enjoy it! Adamis felt much more like a home than a hotel, as if we were locals who happened to live in a wonderful house w/our friends. Maria, Stelios, Dimitra & the other male staff member (can't remember his name for the moment) were incredible hosts. If we had questions about daytrip options or restaurant recommendations, they provided a wealth of information. Stelios single-handedly helped us change our ferry tickets when we had to alter our plans, by walking us to the ticket office in Fira & helping w/negotiating w/their staff. When he and Dimitra ordered takeout from the local souvlaki place, they offered to place orders for us too.
The room was incredibly beautiful. Large domed celings & stone tiled floors. Large jacuzzi & luxuriant bath products. We started each day with customized breakfast on our balcony, overlooking the water. (I still remember how tasty the yogurt w/honey & nuts was).
We want to visit Santorini again, not only for the amazing scenery but to catch up w/our new friends in Fira!

Words can hardly express what a wonderful time my wife and I had at Adamis Suites. The views, the breakfast, the location--all perfect. We felt like honored guests. Maria was wonderful. You simply can't go wrong.

The main door of the hotel opened and we saw not a lobby but the Aegean Sea. That was the same gorgeous view we had every day for four days. In the morning it would be softly lit and in the evenings we would watch a deeply-colored sunset.

We lounged for three hours every morning just talking, laughing, enjoying the fresh Greek breakfast and loving the view. Then we took turns having unhurried showers (part of the experience is the wonderful bathroom and bath products). We could have had a party in there if we wanted to as four people can fit easily and the bathtub is a jacuzzi.

Once we're all fresh and ready for the day, we visited our best friend in Santorini (that's what we called her), Maria at the reception to ask for tips and to laugh a little. And then we went off sightseeing.

After a full day we would sit in the hotel room talking, using the wi-fi to keep in touch with friends and family (read: upload Santorini photos to facebook), laughing over our new memories. Sometimes we jumped around the big bed just because it was fun to do so.

I loved the whole experience and would heartily recommend this hotel to all my friends who visit Santorini. And I will say, "Maria knows everything. Ask her."

Our experience with the Adamis has been fantastic even before our arrival - our wonderful friend Maria from the hotel has been helping us with questions and trip-planning long before we even arrived. Maria will help you with everything you need, right down to the best places to eat and the perfect masseuse to book for a deep-tissue massage.

The hotel is centrally located and offers a breathtaking view of the caldera, Fira town, a bit of Oia town and, of course, the spectacular Santorini sunset. Breakfast was wonderful and healthy (an can be customized to your liking), with a fantastic view of the Nea Kameni volcanic island (picture attached).

The beds are comfortable and extremely sturdy and the bathrooms are stunning to behold (check out the pics of their rooms online at www.adamis-majesty-suites.com) - alll their bathrooms have a jacuzzi! And although we visited as a group of friends, we can just imagine the effect the rooms can have on couples who come here for their honeymoon. All in all, the hotel was a major factor in making our Santorini vacation unforgettable and we can just hope to someday repeat the whole experience!

We stayed at the hotel in August 2011 for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is excellent, very central and convenient, and very short walking distance to wherever you would need to go in Fira. Despite its location the rooms were very quiet, and nicely fitted out. The staff were exceptional. Stelio, Maria and the breakfast staff, were the most helpful we encountered travelling through Greece over the years. They were more than willing to help in whichever way possible, and their advice is well heeded, especially sight seeing positions. The rooms are very nice, relatively large, with a nice sized bathroom, they are just what you need in Fira.
The breakfast was nice, excellent selection from the menu and portions see you more that through till lunch.
Overall we had a great time, and would happily come back, and unreservedly recommend it to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
Thanks for a pleasant stay in Fira

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
In a few words.ADAMIS MAJESTY is a unique sample of aristocratic architecture, respecting, though, rigorously, the neoclassic specification of Santorini’s Old Mansions, with their domes, their arches and the picturesque windows, from which one can admire the blue sky binding with the endless blue of the ocean, whereas during the nightfall, the sea is painted “in blood” as the sun bends into its arms for inevitably loosing itself into the ocean. Nowaydays, the owners of ADAMIS MAJESTY have successfully reconstructed the mansion, with respect to its historicity, while simultaneously maintaining the local architecture, and have created 6 suites, which give a new essence to the meaning of qualitative luxury. Each suite has its own special style of comfort and luxury, with a distinguished presentation of the bathroom, where the shaping of the area, along with its decoration and its unique Jacuzzi, provide an exceptional experience of relaxation and calmness, but also an atmosphere of mystery and romance. ... more   less
