Stayed there 8/16/14 and the it looks very nice. The room at first glance looked clean, turned on the light over the nightstand and had dust over. Checked the headboard and same thing. The internet connection was hardly available, arcade was mostly out of order machines; though there is Calypso's Cove across the street. The pool is small for the hotel, but Enchanted Forest is across the street as well. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Overall paying $174 plus tax, we have played less and have gotten more.

Let's begin with the pros... Friendly staff and of course the location. Now the cons, the room was dusty, mystery fluids on the 2 top blankets makes me think they are not washed after each stay. There were dark hairs on the sheets as well and the carpet needed vacuuming. There was a loud humidifier in the room and the bathroom floor needed sweeping. Perhaps the housekeepers shouldn't be cutting corners! The pool is very small, max capacity of 28 so my children were disappointed they were unable to swim, it was packed! Additionally, the game room is in desperate need of updating. It consists of about 6 games, a couple were out of order and the others were not even on, another disappointment for the kids, especially since Calypsos Cove arcade had the same problem. The breakfast was edible, nothing spectator. We had high expectations for a Water Safari run hotel, especially since the room was close to $200 a night. Not worth it, will stay else wear next time.

The staff were very helpful, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was acceptable, was expensive for that type of lodging. The downside was once outside the room the hallways smelled really bad like a heavy damp smell plus the carpet had seen better days. The internet was hit or miss mostly miss, so if you are relying on the internet I suggest you ask for a room close to their router.

Room Tip: If you rely on a good wifi connection make sure you let the front desk know for good room location.

Dear Guest,
We apologize for your experience with poor internet connection. As soon as we found out that 2 of our routers had been struck by lightning, they were immediately replaced so that everywhere receives the free high-speed Wi-Fi without trouble. We appreciate hearing your feedback and continue to strive to make our guests happy.

This establishment has a fabulous location & has clean rooms. The only downside, a large one, is the price. The inn is rustic, like all if the motels in Old Forge & I believe the prices are very expensive.

Dear Guest,
We are happy to hear that you liked our location and our clean rooms. While we are the only hotel in Old Forge and our prices may be a bit higher than the motels, we do pride ourselves in constantly updating the hotel with modern amenities such as the hot continental breakfast, new carpeting, hardwood flooring, remodeled guest rooms and suites, flat-screen high definition cable TV’s, media charging stations, free high speed wi-fi, heated indoor pool, sauna and more. We offer discounted Stay N' Play packages during the week and discounted tickets to the Enchanted Forest Water Safari and Calypso’s Cove, located directly across the street, to help our guests save some money. We hope that you will stay with us again!

My family has been staying a this hotel every summer for the past five years. With four children under the age of 8, we certainly test the boundaries of service and accommodations. The staff has been wonderfully supportive in accommodating any needs we have had throughout the years. The Continental breakfast has always met the dietary needs of our family. We have stayed in several different rooms that accommodate a family of our size. We have found them all to be clean and accommodating. The Continental breakfast has always met the dietary needs and appetites of our family. While I always wish vacations were less expensive, you cant get a better experience for the price of the Stay & Play package! We will continue to come every year!
