“Comfortable and clean place to camp”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2012

My husband and our 2 teenage kids stayed at Singing Waters Campground this past weekend and I have to say we really enjoyed it. The place is kept very clean. We had a river site which was beautiful. You can take tubes down the river which was a blast. The bathrooms were always clean. Before we made reservations I was a little hesitant with reading some negative reviews but I have to say I don't quite understand the bad reviews. It was one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at and we have camped all over. There are some rules but who doesn't have rules! It has to be hard work to run a campground and keep everything under control. We loved it and would definately go back. For us it was much better than staying at the Old Forge campground.

We have stayed at Singing Waters 6 times over the last 5 years. We have never had a bad experience from the staff or family that own and run the campsite. If you are looking for a safe, clean, quiet family camp ground stay at Singing Waters.
The beach, playground and river provide hours of fun for all of us. The small size allows for the children to play close to our site so they can be supervised. We have enjoyed meeting and new friendships with other campers.
Note: Why was the negitive review written? I find it funny that when you read some negitive reviews they indicate their own inability to follow the rules.
I am Canadian and was embarassed last weekend (the canadian long weekend) when another group of Canadians (out of character) stayed at the park and caused all kinds of issues. They were drunk, loud and threatening to the owners because they were just trying to enforce the rules so the rest of us could enjoy our stay.
I am waiting for a negitive review if not here on another site.
If you are looking for a fun, quiet, clean, safe, relaxing place to camp, trailer or take advantage of their cottage rentals I would highly recommend Singing Waters. If you want to drink, party, yell all night, and let your children run wild, you may want to stay somewhere else.
The other large park in Old Forge was having a bear problem . We had to stay there one night with our children. The cabin next to us left food out to attract the bear and sure enough when we finally thought they had quieted down at 12:30 the noise started again because we had a bear in our site that they came over to try to feed. The park staff were not around.
We love singing waters.

Room Tip: We have tented and stayed in the campers cabins and have never had a bad night. The trailer and cabi...

We stayed here from august 3 to 6 2012. We are like the other people that write, a non smoking famiy looking for a family campground. Our children aged 12 and 13 and are anything but troublemakers. The owners were TERRIBLE. They were biligerant and swore at our children. Other friends reported the same concerns. NEVER rent a cabin as they will try to keep your deposit. Friends had them keep money because they left a bar of soap in the shower. These people are the most UNFRIENDLY and ARROGENT people I have ever encountered running a buisness. ( If I sound bitter, I am sorry but I never write reviews untill now, I just feel compelled to) If you have a choice between staying here and staying in a ditch, pick the ditch!!!!!!!!!

Would never go back. Never stayed anywhere, where the owners were so rude. Not one good thing to say. Not sure why anyone would ever stay there. My kids were chased by the owner in his golf cart. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
