A friend and I stayed at the Deer Haven Campground a few weeks ago. We came in around 6 PM on a rainy night.
The office did not have anyone in it, however, after using the phone available a staff person came out immediately. We checked in and hooked up.
CAMPGROUND: The cabins at the campground have an AMAZING view of the valley and Oneonta, even with the clouds and rain we enjoyed the view. There is a large picnic pavilion and open green space up the hill from the cabins. There is a small pool, however we did not use it - cold and we were only there for a night.
RV SITES: we had electric, sewage and water. The spaces were somewhat private due to trees and bushes between sites. Our spot was level and had gravel. We had the site farthest from the office, towards the open green space.
RESTROOM: This spot is also the closest to the restrooms. There is a toilet separate from a shower for each sex. The toilette and shower were clean. There were a few cobwebs in the ceiling, no big deal. Felt new and generally clean.
Overall, nice spot. Easy access to Oneonta. It is easy to miss from the access road to the campground. GoogleMaps on my iPhone worked very well to make sure we didn't miss the turn in the dark rain.
