If you enjoy wine, relaxation and great food that is presented beautifully the Copper Oven is the place you must visit while in the Finger Lakes. The wine tasting at Cayuga Ridge Estate Winery is unpretentious...and the dinning experience next door at the copper oven is laid back (chilled) and delicious. The food is based on local availability so it is fresh. The Copper/Brick/wood fired pizza oven takes a pizza that would be delicious made in any oven and elevates the flavor to a higher level.
Just go.

Really enjoyed lunch here. Delicious flat breads and good service. We tried a dessert as well but would stick with the flat breads next time.

I don't know where to start since the whole experience was so great (except the gnats!!) :D. When we got there we were not sure if they could accommodate pets, YES they do!! All the pizzas have a cheese base and when asked if they could make one without it, YES! I asked for focaccia and they delivered.. it was just the way I would make it. We also felt uncomfortable with our seating due to the gnats and were accommodated on the picnic table on the lawn. It was great, they did not mind coming across the parking lot with the food and drinks. How nice was that! Did I say the pizzas were great? Did I say they use only local foods in season? Did I say how nice it was to be surrounded by farm land? Now I did!! Excellent work Copper Oven. Can't wait to come back!

Considering that the evening you visited us was a fairly hectic one (i.e., we were serving dinner to a full house while setting up for our Movie Night in the Vineyard series) we truly appreciate your kind words about The Copper Oven.

Most importantly, thank you for your patience with us as we worked to find comfortable seating for you and your beautiful dog.

Have a great summer! We hope to see you again soon!

The "Fun Guy" pizza has mushrooms at the main topping (Fun Guy - Fungi, get it?). Anyway, whether you choose that one or any of the other 4-5 on the the menu, you'll love them. They have beers as well as wine to go along. The pizzas spend only 2-3 minutes in the oven (check that out; it's interesting) and the dough is made up in batches ahead of time. The consequence is whatever you order on the little porch comes out fast. It's simple and delicious. We stayed in the area for two weeks and went back several times. The pizzas are a meal for one person but shareable for two if you're having something else. We each got our own.

We stopped for a light meal after a recommendation from a local winery. I shared a Fun - Guy pizza with my husband and it was the best pizza I've ever had. The different ingredients blended together so well. It was absolutely phenomenal. You have got to try this place.
