“One of the Best”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

I have been going to Ricciardella's Restaurant for about 11 years. Every winter when I am in the area skiing I make sure we go there. We love it there. The service is always great, the bartender
who is there for ever is awesome and Mike the owner is a great guy. The food is always wonderful. From year to year they know us and are always happy to see us comeback. Wish he had a restaurant in Jersey!

“BUSY VERY GOOD PLACE”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

A two fer. 2 entrances, 2 menus, 2 bars. Order from a variety of menus from Mexican or Italian American. A special thick pizza is really good if you like that. Huge portions for two hiking guys - most welcome. Waiters on the ball and friendly. Fair prices, we thought and well below what we see in NYC.

“Phoenicia's best kept secret”
Reviewed 11 October 2013

For some reason we had never eaten at Ricciardellas, even though we've lived in Phoenicia for several years. The front looks a bit foreboding, but we were pleasantly surprised by the expert service and wonderful food. The stuffed fig appetizer is particularly good, as is the red curry seafood risotto and the five spice duck breast. The atmosphere is quiet and old-timey - a welcome respite from the "scene" in Woodstock!

“Great family owned Italian Restaurant”
Reviewed 8 October 2013

We came here after a day of hiking Slide Mountain. There is parking in the back of the buildings. The place is very nice and romantic. The food has huge portions and being from NYC, I found the prices to be very reasonable for the freshness and quality of food they offer.

We started off with the Oyster and Spinach Sauce appetizer. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the sauce tasted. Next, I had the Porterhouse Pork Chop was was delicious, wish they gave a bit more sides though. My girlfriend shared the Seafood dinner for two with her friend. It was huge. You get Lobster, Mussels, Clams, Shrimp, Calamari in pasta with tomato sauce. It all tasted delicious.

We loved this place so much that we can see ourselves taking the two hour drive up here for a romantic dinner.

“Food is good the prices over the top”
Reviewed 29 September 2013

We like the food here. It is dependable, clever and tasty but the prices are NYC prices and in Phoenicia, who are we kidding. We have stopped going because we do not want to have dinner and a drink and spend $50 pp.
