We went up for a wedding July 2nd and 3rd very reasonably priced, clean, outside patio chairs to enjoy well worth the trip. You can bring your own alcohol tthey provide ice. I would recommend a bug candle to enjoy the patio and sit outside, blow dryer, extra shampoo/condioner.

Nice place to stay in Phoenicia. Close to everything. Room was clean and amply sized. Plenty of firewood available for the fire pit. We stayed two nights this July and the kids loved the hiking trails nearby and the tubing on the Esopus. This was our second stay and we will surely return.

We went from NYC to "camping" with some friends, my wife is pregnant and we decide to find a hotel near the camping site, this place is really nice the owners are really friendly and nice people, the room that we stayed was the 7 is small but very comfortable, we found the place very clean. The breakfast is good, fruit, bagles, coffe, orange juice, te, oat. I always need some protein like eggs in the morning but the breakfast in general is good and healthy.

I recommend this place.

Room Tip: We choose the room 7 was small, just for two ppl.

What a lovely place, very near the town, close to both Hunter mountain and Belleayer mountain for skiing. Very nice and accommodating owners, rooms are very clean and cozy. The whole place is so peaceful and quiet. A great place to stay for a weekend away from the city. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: We booked last minute and had a twin room, but beds were easily pushed together. Next time we would...

We lived in a Room #7 and had an awesome experience. The place is absolutely clean. The owners are very warm and kind people, always ready to help and offer suggestions. Free breakfast was good. I would definitely come back to this place in spring or summer.

The location of this nice lodge is perfect for exploring the Catskill Mountains. I really enjoyed the main lodge for the continental breakfast in the morning. The great variety of breakfast foods and drinks made the start of my day exceptional, with conversations with the owners. My room was warm when I arrived and the room service was excellent. The evenings were restful, as there are signs asking that individuals respect each others quiet time. Two good days of winter hiking to nearby Westkill Mountain and Peekamoose Mountains, with relaxing evenings back at my room and nice conversations with visiting skiers, and tourists. The village of Phoenicia down the road is super convenient for supplies, restaurants, night life and culture. The library is beautiful, with one room completely dedicated to fly fishing and Esopus Creek nearby. Cool area and the Phoenicia lodge is a reasonally priced place to stay and take in the mountains.
