“Great stay.”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Myself and girlfriend stayed in one of the motel rooms in July 2014 for three nights. We had a great stay and were very well looked after. The rooms were nice and cosy and clean. The Innkeepers looked after us very well, answering our questions, advising us on where to go and ensuring we were well fed at breakfast. We had a fantastic time hiking the area. It is very well situated right in the heart of the Catskills.

Room Tip: We went for the motel rooms for the price and were not disappointed.

Excellent nearby hiking! We had a great stay here! It's close to Mt Tremper, Belleayre, Woodstock. Innkeepers Brian & Sara are great! The Lodge is a comfy and cozy atmosphere which emulates the dedication and warmth of its owners

We went up for a wedding July 2nd and 3rd very reasonably priced, clean, outside patio chairs to enjoy well worth the trip. You can bring your own alcohol tthey provide ice. I would recommend a bug candle to enjoy the patio and sit outside, blow dryer, extra shampoo/condioner.

Nice place to stay in Phoenicia. Close to everything. Room was clean and amply sized. Plenty of firewood available for the fire pit. We stayed two nights this July and the kids loved the hiking trails nearby and the tubing on the Esopus. This was our second stay and we will surely return.

We went from NYC to "camping" with some friends, my wife is pregnant and we decide to find a hotel near the camping site, this place is really nice the owners are really friendly and nice people, the room that we stayed was the 7 is small but very comfortable, we found the place very clean. The breakfast is good, fruit, bagles, coffe, orange juice, te, oat. I always need some protein like eggs in the morning but the breakfast in general is good and healthy.

I recommend this place.

Room Tip: We choose the room 7 was small, just for two ppl.

What a lovely place, very near the town, close to both Hunter mountain and Belleayer mountain for skiing. Very nice and accommodating owners, rooms are very clean and cozy. The whole place is so peaceful and quiet. A great place to stay for a weekend away from the city. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: We booked last minute and had a twin room, but beds were easily pushed together. Next time we would...
