We ate here after walking on the "Walkway over the Hudson". The restaurant is located a couple of streets away from the parking lot of the walkway and you can see the walkway from the restaurant. There are a few parking spots in front of the restaurant and there is a larger parking lot across the street.
The staff was friendly and helpful, The food was good. We have Reubens, burgers and the appetizer of pierogi's and sausage and chili. I'm pretty sure the pierogi's were frozen and probably not home made. The chili was good. They used cut up pieces of american cheese for the topping. Blocks of cheddar would have been better. My reuben was fine, the other was a bit tough.
The outdoor seating is between a parking lot and the highway. Not much of a view. The inside seem dated but clean. The bathroom was clean. The bar is located in the middle of the dining room. And it appears to be a local hangout.
Overall, the food was fine. The location was ok. Service was fine. This is not 5 star dining but is certainly fine for a burger and fries.
