We've dined here several times over the years, and I have noticed a steady decline. Those in my party who had fish meals were quite happy. But the pasta dishes all tasted the same (we share, so I tasted them all). The salads were uninteresting, and the coffee tasted like it had been heating for hours. I don't know if the desserts are made at the restaurant, but they were all fine. When I ordered from the wine list, it took four tries...they were out of the first three I chose. Our server placed all of the glasses (water, drinks and wine) on the table by holding the glass by the rim. Sorry, but that's restaurant 101...keep your fingers out of the guest's mouths! My biggest gripe is that the place just isn't kept clean. The men's bathroom is embarrassingly filthy, the wall decor is dusty, there are sticky spots on the floor and chairs, the drapes and windows are dusty and the entrance is littered with cigarette butts (not surprising because they have a "smoker's station" immediately outside the front door). In a family restaurant, it's common for a family member or other member of management to stop by the table (we were there on a Friday night). This seems to me to be especially true at Italian restaurants. We never saw anyone who appeared to be in charge.
