This is a basic Days Inn, even by Days Inn standards. It was formerly an America's Best Inn property and was reportedly renovated last year. Which only leads one to wonder what it used to look like. Rooms are small. Families will have to settle for rooms with two double beds whose comfort was adequate. Inadequate were the WiFi connection, which was next to nonexistent in our room and the TV, which had an ample array of channels but all transmitted in SD.
The room itself was clean and despite being right off the highway was relatively quiet. We paid $142 a night, which was on the low end for the Lake George area on July 4. Still, the thought of paying as much as we did for what we got was off-putting, to say the least.
You could do better in the area. But you'll pay more. However, that might not be such a bad idea.More
