We stopped over here on NYS Heritage Weekend as well as the Schuyler Mansion. It was well worth it as the staff are super knowledgeable about Dutch Colonial history in the Upper Hudson/Albany/Rensselaer area. The museum itself (restored Brick Manor House c.1712) was nicely laid out but it would have been nicer if they had some additional period rooms other than basement area. Museum gift shop had some wonderful literature on Dutch Colonial period in general and specific to Albany/Beverwyck.
