We are traveling along the Hudson River to see the fall foliage. We stayed at the Rhinecliff bed an breakfast, but their restaurant was not open this late in the season for dinner. They pointed us the the China Rose. This is a bar restaurant. We stopped in early, just to check the place out before we unpacked and went on a walk along the railroad tracks. The place was full and noisy. We came back later, and we were the only customers. The food is not your traditional Chinese, which was great for us, as we look for different and exciting events. Everything was delicious, and being the only customers, we got excellent service. Since the town of Rhinecliff is really off the beaten track, I don't know where their customers come from, unless it is from the commuters on the train. For a different Chinese restaurant experience, try the China Rose.
