Quaint, very clean place. Enjoyable stroll to Lake Erie where we sat on the beach and later that night sat next to a warm campfire. Surprised to find a great little breakfast in the lobby the next morning. The owner was very informative on local restaurants. We like to attend concerts in Chautauqua and this motel is the perfect place to stay instead of driving home. If you like fancy-this isn't it. But it is wonderful and we will definitely return. The water in the shower just has to run longer than normal but it does get hot in time.

This motel is very well maintained and the owner is very nice and accomodating. He even has an unadvertised, simple continental breakfast in the morning. The best thing about this motel is it is a short, easy walk to the Lake Erie shoreline. We had fun skipping stones, singing camp songs, and watching the sunset. Another good thing is there is no internet and no 3G available, so you have to go to the shoreline for entertainment, just like it should be.

The only downside is the limited hot water, so treat the shower like a campout shower where you get wet, turn off the water, lather up, and then rinse off.
