This is a cast cemetery in the heart of Rochester. It's peace and quiet encourage neighbors to stroll, run, or walk their pets. One day I found a card game under a shade tree by the Civil War Memorial! The Daughters of the American Revolution tend a Revolutionary War memorial, and the Sons and Daughters of Union Veterans tend to the Civil War monument. You will recognize many names from Rochester's history, such as Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony, as well as Eastman and other manufacturing family names that made Rochester what it is today. Bring the kids and drive or stroll through a section or two of this grand old beauty.
