“Wings & Burgers - good stuff!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2014

Wings were meaty, burgers were great, and cooked perfectly, and oh, that bacon! Wait staff was very attentive and split the check without us even asking.

“A Good Sports Bar & Restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

Three of us met here for dinner in July after visiting someone in nearby Strong Memorial Hospital. The atmosphere was sports bar, so the noise level was a bit high as we were there during the World Cup. The food was very good and prices reasonable, but be aware that the restaurant uses lots of spices. We ordered the soft pretzel and cheese sauce appetizer, and the cheese was loaded with so much heat none of us could eat it. The waitress was attentive. When it was time to go, I looked for the ladies room as I had a long trip ahead of me. Although the men's room is downstairs right next to the bar, the sign for the ladies pointed up a staircase so I opted not to climb up there with these AARP knees.

“Good food; excellent, accomodating staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 July 2014

We stopped in for a light evening meal after a day on the road. Wasn't sure what to expect ... loved it! We were able to sit outside, and the wait staff were great. Our first table was next to a fairly large gathering of women, all sharing cocktails and each wanting to be heard above the other ... our wait staff noticed and offered to move us (just two) to a table with a little distance from the celebratory gang. Awesome! And the food was very good. You could tell it was a franchise (banners all over the place asking if you want to own one ...) - but it felt 'way more like a family-owned, hometown eatery than a faceless franchise! Nice job, Distillery!

“Okay food, terrible service.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

Been to this Distillery a few times, but this time was terrible! I went around 2pm with my family of 4 for appetizers. Our waitress was terrible. She took around 15 minutes to bring us our drinks. During those 15 minutes she was sitting at a table. When we walked over to her, she got up before we could talk to her, and finally brought us our drinks. She brought us our food after another long wait, and then never came back to our table. We had to go to the bar to ask for refills and to get our bill because our waitress was yet again sitting down at a table. We asked to speak to the manager because this was unacceptable. When he came, the waitress finally rushed back over, but was not very friendly. The manager was friendly and did reduce our bill a few dollars, but still not a good experience. The food was good, but not worth the wait or money.

“Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014

Whenever we visit Rochester and have had a busy day we can always count on great food at the Distillery later in the evening.
We have tried 2 different locations, both were very good.
Being a non drinker they introduced me to Buckler a non alcoholic beer that I have enjoyed now for many years, not found in many restaurants.
