“A great market to visit, not so much for sitting and eating”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

We're from Ithaca, and wish we had an italian market like this one. Great authentic italian items, set up like a small grocery store. There is a small counter where you can order great smelling coffees, and another where you can get sandwiches. We have a friend in the area that buys most of her meat here, and you can see why. Tremendous selection, great sausages made in house. I'm not recommending this as a place to stop and eat (try Guido's Pasta Villa directly across the street), but if you are in the neighborhood, stop in and buy some great italian cookies and just check it out. Lovely place.

“Great Italian market”
Reviewed 26 May 2013

This is a great little Italian market. Has a large meat case and wonderful Italian cookies. Has a large fresh cheese area and serves sandwiches up front with some tables. I hope markets like this never go away!!!

“Irondequoit location is the best.”
Reviewed 5 March 2013

There is also a Rubinos in webster, but the one on ridge road in Irondequoit is the original! They have a nice little store with lots of italian foods. A very expansive deli with all kinds of meats and cheeses. The subs are delicious! And dont forget to pickup some cannolis! I dont know if the same lady is making them anymore, but they used to be the best cannolis in town!

“Just like the old days!”
Reviewed 1 July 2012

Rubino's reminds me of the Italian deli experiences of my childhood, except it is larger & they accept charge cards! You can find all of the ingredients for an Italian feast here...bread, desserts, meats, cheeses, salads, pasta etc. You can purchase prepared foods or have a sub made to order. There are several tables if you choose to eat on site. When I was here recently, I noticed hot foods ranging from tripe to eggplant. The staff (of all ages) is very friendly. Rubino's is comparable to Italian delis in major American cities (& in even some of those in Italy).
