Stayed at this hotel while visiting Rochester for a bowling tournament and have to say it was a good stay. The hotel is centrally located -- all types of restaurants are within walking distance -- Both bowling alleys were short drives away -- the hotel is right off a major highway. The room was a King Bed room -- Microwave and Refridgerator in the room...free wi-fi..nice new TV with lots of channels including HBO. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable...yes, even the pillows...and the usual -- Iron and board...hair dryer...lots of closet and drawer space. Also, plenty of parking -- nicely lit. The staff was not to my fancy -- but not terrible either -- I just like a little more friendlier but that's a personal thing with me. But here's something you should know -- I booked the room online with this "non-refundable" supposedly LOW RATE a bunch of weeks inadvance...and to my surprise I could have booked the room for less if I would have waited. As it turned out -- I called the hotel to cancel the room because I could have stayed somewhere else much cheaper -- they held the line at that I could not cancel. No hard feelings -- My bad...like buying a warranty for an appliance...sounds like a great idea until it breaks and the company has to stand behind it. My suggestion -- DON'T DO It.
