“Great Sushi. ”
Reviewed 15 November 2013 via mobile

For a company of five we ordered sushi and sashimi for two (1 soup, 1 salad) , a spicy scallop roll and a tuna carpaccio. The soup and salad that came with the meal was the type that you would find at any other Japanese restaurant. The sushi and sashimi were fresh an adequately sized with a nice presentation. The person who ordered the tuna carpaccio loved it and would have ordered another one, but didn't want to spend the time waiting for it as we has already finished our meal.
The atmosphere is a little bit dark, as lighting is very minimal. It can get a bit noisy if the restaurant is full, which in most nights it is. There is the option of outside seating during the warmer months. The only bad part is you can't make a reservation, so if you want to get in quicker arrive by 5:45pm otherwise the wait will be up to 45 minutes. The service staff is attentive, friendly, and knows their menu very well.

“Sushi is good but is the dining experience?”
Reviewed 20 October 2013 via mobile

Ok, the sushi is good but it is NOT worth the wait. The staff lies about the wait for take out or for a table. They seat their "favored" customers over others waiting for much longer periods. Sushi can't be good after waiting over an hour to pick it up so be careful when taking out. Many complaints about that. Tables are way too close together that you play elbows with the table on each side and hope no one sneezes. The service is less than to be desired. So is all this worth worth good sushi? It is far from the self proclaimed Nobu of Long Island. Far from it.

“Fantastic sushi”
Reviewed 12 September 2013

We waited and waited to get seated but it's worth the wait! It's almost part of the experience!
Fantastic sushi and sashimi. The service was really good, too.
Wonderful options for kids, too.

“Best sashimi ever”
Reviewed 7 July 2013 via mobile

We are sashimi lovers and have eaten in dozens of Japanese restaurants. Our children took us here as a gift and it was a truly a special and memorable meal. Aside from the super fresh fish, the plate contained special extras such as a pastrami-like spiced salmon and delicious rolls stuffed with avocado. Even the daikon looked and tasted different. We were stuffed but very happy.
The service was excellent. Although we had to wait for a table, the manager took our phone number and called us three times to keep us apprised of our status. It is worth a trip to dine here. A bit noisy, but who cares??
