Owner description: Par 34 nine-hole golf course.

The Doral Golf Club offers one of the most challenging nine-hole courses you'll find in the area. Don't be fooled by this nine-hole course. There's a lot of water to go over, moguls to contend with, downhill lies, and some blind shots, too. Bring your A-game, you'll need it on this fun and challenging course!

Played with two friends, both with a physical problem. Used carts. Played during an off time. People behind caught up but wouldn't pass, kept shouting at us. Shop boys rushed us because they needed carts and I lost my score card in the rush. Would not return.
Trump bought the place. Wonder what he'll do to it and staff. Needs work. Course itself is lovely, but narrow. Shoot straight.

Doral Arrowwood in Rye, NewYork manages a 9 hole golf course, driving range and putting/chipping area plus a hotel, outdoor bar and tennis facilities. Specifically, the golf course is lovely but you must take a golf cart, no walking of the course is allowed. There are houses situated along the course, very attractive and spaced far enough away from errant golf balls. The course is well maintained with interesting holes but I found that signing up for the 9 holes rather than 18 (playing the course twice) was sufficient. Playing 18 holes (same 9 holes twice over) would probably be boring but the 9 hole course is definitely worth returning to again. The driving range is small, expensive and has no overhead canopies to protect from the sun on very hot, sunny summer days. The putting green is fine, the chipping area is small but there is a sand trap for practice also. They do sometimes offer groupon. You probably will enjoy the 9 hole course and your experience at Doral Arrowwood.

The hotel is great! I didn't like the planes overhead except when I was able to watch them outside. This was not an issue late at night however.
