Tarry Here Bed and Breakfast

Beautiful home with five lovely bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. Breakfasts were wonderful and cooked to order. The owners, Bob and Cheryl, were very accommodating and have a sweet little dog named Colton. It's close to Jamestown and Ellicottville. The mattress on our bed made me think that we need a new one at home! Very comfortable sleeping and in a nice, quiet area. If I were up that way again, I'd stay here. The owners do have it up for sale at the present time, however, since they've owned it for 10 years and would like to do some traveling of their own. Hopefully, anyone who buys it will maintain it as a Bed and Breakfast. The house had awesome antiques and woodwork.

This is the most lovely B&B that we found on the internet when traveling to Ellicottville for business. Our hosts, Cheryl and Bob, will make you very comfortable and are such pleasant people to have a conversation with. This home is beautiful with the most magnificent wood I have ever seen.
The rooms are nothing fancy (5 in all) with one bath in the hallway, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were super delicious, and Bob even made us his version of French Toast which he labeled "Seneca" toast, after himself and the area.
Don't miss this lovely place if you are traveling or skiing in this area.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, but there is one that you must use the bath in the hallway.

What a beautiful home! The interior of the B&B was beautifully detailed with original, vintage, wooden accoutrements from top to bottom. The living and dining rooms were exceptionally detailed. The hosts were quite accommodating, making our stay comfortable. We would stay there again if in the area.

I spent the long weekend here with 7 of my friends - its a short 20 min drive from the hill - you can't beat the rates and location - you can still enjoy Ellicotville but can get away to a nice quiet place to get a good nights sleep. The rooms were great and clean - breakfast was delish and Bob and Cheryl are dynamite! PS the huge antique mall in Salamanca is a definate stop for treasure hunters!

Room Tip: Every room is great!

Just got back from a most relaxing and romantic weekend. Our stay at the Tarry Here B&B was very enjoyable! All the comforts of home. Bob and Cheryl our Hosts made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious! This home was built in the 1900's. She is a Majestic Lady! Just beautiful inside and out. Close to all the attractions. Comfy and Quiet rooms. There are no TV's in the rooms but they do invite you to watch the Big Screen one in the living room down stairs. We had it all to ourselves but chose to just relax and listen to the nice sounding Bose system in our room. So relaxing and romantic. Loved It!

Room Tip: They are all very nice. We stayed in room #4. We ate at the Buffet in the Casino but Bob & Che...

Found the Tarry Here at the last minute when planning a New Years Eve getaway. Having never stayed at a B&B we were skeptical - boy were we wrong! The home is simply beautiful and Bob and Cheryl couldn't be better hosts! All 4 couples in our group had nothing but good things to say about our experience and we will definitely be back (don't be ascared Bob, we'll be on our best behaviour!). Rooms were super clean, breakfast was yummy, and the hospitality was second to none. Even Colton seemed happy we were there! Thanks for a great stay and a great start to the New Year!!

We stayed here for the first time this weekend. What a beautiful house, with an excellent host. Bob was incredibly welcoming and his dog too! We didn't get to meet Cheryl, as she was away. This is an excellent, cozy place to stay. Breakfast was awesome. We will be back.
