“Good Food and Fast Service but ...”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

Had dinner there on a Monday in mid-June - not very crowded. We had 4 adults and two children (4 & 6) and had been there previously. Ordered a variety of menu items, seated in the 'bar' section. Rating would have been higher except for two factors. Kitchen was swift in getting our food out but maybe too swift. Waitress didn't offer the kids it's customary coloring paper and crayons (other children exiting had these in hand) and my cheese enchilada centers were room temperature when served.

“Meh - Not our cup of tea”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

We popped in here for a quick drink and a snack while waiting to go to a concert at SPAC.
We were disappointed.
They gave us chips and salsa and while the salsa was amazing – the chips seemed very stale.
My wine tasted funny and the atmosphere was ok.
We sat at the bar and the bartender seemed pretty overwhelmed. Granted the bar was full but it doesn’t seat 50 people or anything. Food the guy was eating next to me DID look good and like authentic Mexican but the chips turned us off and the atmosphere was too “Main Street” for us so we had 1 drink and left to go find a more local watering hole. If you want the “Main Street” Saratoga feel and love Mexican food, you might really enjoy it here – just not our cup of tea.

“A Mojito and Chicken Quesadilla we will crave for years to come!”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We decided to stop in and try this restaurant while out walking around the downtown area. They had a cute outdoor seating area but it was getting a bit cooler so we put our name in for an inside table. Service was very good. We ordered mojitos which were excellent the best I have ever had. The nachos were o.k. I am picky about my nachos. The Chicken quesadilla was excellent they use a different type of cheese not sure of the name but it tasted like a fontina cheese and we had never tried one like that before. Really good atmosphere and we will go back if ever in the area again. The type of food and drink you remember and crave years later.

“Great food with love music.”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

Great Mexican food in a fun atmosphere. The outdoor patio was open and packed early in the night. There was a musician providing live music which was varied and great. The variety of drinks and menu choices was refreshing. I ordered the tostada del mar, and my girlfriend ordered the chicken fajita. The portions were perfect and delicious, the salsa was fresh and absolutely delicious!!! I would def recommend this for drinks or dinner.

“Great Drinks, Decent Food”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

Everyone loves a good Mexican restaurant. The food at Cantina is pretty good - the burritos are decent, and the steak quesadilla is worth going back for. The margaritas are good, but try to go during happy hour. They charge a ridiculous price for a pitcher of flavered margs - $45. They're not THAT good! Still, if you go during happy hour or something (2 for 1 margs), it's definitely worth the trip.
