Came here tonight with my mother [it’s around the corner from her house] for dinner. They’ve recently expanded the restaurant – we sat in a new large comfortable room [behind the new bakery/café]. It was a Tuesday night and there was a significant amount of business. MamaMia’s started out as a pizzeria with red sauce Italian food [which was always good], but they’ve been branching out. Mom had her usual, veal parmesan [and loved it]. I tried the special, a tasty angus steak with porcinis served with risotto and asparagus [pictured]. It was delicious. I’ve always enjoyed their pizza as well. Tables all around us were eating multiple gigantic [and delectable looking] NY –style pizzas. Very fair prices and friendly, careful service.
