I stayed here many times from 2011 to 2012 and I have no complaints. Its different from other courtyard marriott hotels, in that it has its own decor and style, different from other coyrtyards. They have a good breakfast and the Old Bryan Inn restaurant is in walking distance.

The location of this property is at the end of downtown Saratoga Springs, and very short walk from the convention center. The rooms and property are well maintained although this property does not yet seem to have had the lobby upgrade program that is being rolled out across Courtyard properties.

Normally stays at Courtyard hotels are the same everywhere but this time I was upgraded to a double bedroom suite - I never knew they had these - essentially 2 rooms that are permanently open to each other. 1 lounge but 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms etc. Great if traveling with family.

Courtyards are pretty consistent overall and this was no exception. But the staff were above average, going the extra mile to ensure our good stay. We were upgraded to a suite because another couple received the upgrade but it didn't work well for their family so we switched.

Room Tip: Higher up is better. The Suites were below grade, which was a bit unusual, but there was an exit to...

I stayed here 1 night with my family including 2 teenagers. The hotel is very close to the restaurants and shops on Broadway. There was plenty of free parking at the hotel. Check-in was simple and only took 2 minutes. The room was very clean. The standard size room was larger than most other standard rooms that I have stayed in, and it only cost $118 + tax for the night. The room had 2 large beds (I think they were doubles but they comfortably slept 2) as well as a sitting area with a loveseat and small table. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were great! Too many hotels have pillows that are totally flat and offer no support. The bathroom was very clean and had granite/marble. The hotel staff responded very quickly to our request for extra towels. We didn't have a chance to eat at the hotel. Overall it was an upscale room at a reasonable price.

This is an excellent hotel and very accommodating, especially to our bike riding group. Rooms are updated and clean, breakfast buffet is pleasant and has a lot of options. Only suggestion I can make is to consider changing the coffee "amenities package" in the rooms to include liquid creamer containers (shame to have a personal keurig machine and powdered whitener only). But there's the endless coffee in the lobby with creamer galore so maybe I'm being picky.

Recommended to travelers visiting Saratoga Springs!

Husband & I spend a very nice weekend in Saratoga Springs at the Courtyard recently. The location of the hotel is just off the main streets with plenty of parking, so it was an easy & pleasant walk to town. A walk we truly needed after visiting Ravenous or Uncommon Gounds (yum). Room was a good size & well appointed. Pool, whirlpool & exercise room are a fine size & clean. Breakfast was fresh & reasonable priced with lots of coffeeeee! Carpet in elevators and baseboard paint in hallways could use refreshing but on the whole a very nice open & bright feel. I was concerned about room noise at first as our room faced the busy road & I could hear the trucks pass by, but it quieted down at night. Staff was helpful, but sparse, perhaps as this is not high season. If I returned (& I may well do so) I'd request an odd number room so as to face the park, rather then the busy road.

Room Tip: rqst odd numbered room

My son and I had a good stay here for two nights while he was visiting Skidmore. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The service was excellent from housekeeping, who delivered an extra blanket promptly when we asked, to the front desk who were very helpful in giving us brochures for pizza delivery when we arrived too late the first night to get food and on the second night making recommendations and reservations for dinner. The hotel is located less than a mile from Skidmore. It's a little out of the way from the main part of downtown but is within half a block of the Olde Bryan Inn if you don't want to drive to dinner. My only complaint was that the heater was very noisy so that we could hardly hear ourselves talk until the fan switched off. I would stay there again.
