My husband and I had a fabulous experience at the Pavilion Grand Hotel! It is right in the middle of everything so we parked our car with the valet and were off and running - very convenient for dining and shopping. The suite was spacious and very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff couldn't have been nicer - we were celebrating a milestone anniversary and they sent up a complimentary bottle of wine for us to enjoy! Loved it, we'll be back for sure!

We are so happy that you celebrated the Anniversary weekend with us at Pavilion Grand! It certainly makes for a fun getaway with so much to do and so close... good reason to celebrate many other wonderful occasions with us, or just look ahead to one of our exciting package events in the Fall and Winter.

After a stuffy greeting at the front desk we were given our keys and set off to our room. We didn't get far though because when I opened the door, we walked right into someone else's room. Yes, that's right, we were given someone else's room and keys to get into it.

We stood in the hallway with all our bags while the bell boy went back to the front desk. He was very kind and apologetic. My wife went downstairs to check on things after a bit and was given a quick apology and was told the bell boy had the new keys. There was really not much of an acknowledgement made to the situation. We felt as if we were almost a bother to the staff.

The hotel itself is nice. It's pricey but it was nice to have the kitchen and washer and dryer.

I am very sorry to hear of your recent experience upon check-in and will follow up to speak with you personally. I was made aware of what happened this morning and can tell you that our front desk agent was very upset and took full responsibility for the genuine mistake. The hotel business is not always 100%, but we do strive to make every experience perfect. We will look forward to a much better experience for you on your next visit. I am happy that you did enjoy the rest of your stay after that and will look forward to seeing next time you are in Saratoga Springs!

The hotel has a great location near town and good restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. We asked for a quiet room so we wouldn't hear the street noise and that was easily accommodated.

I came to Saratoga on the first day of the horse racing season, so I was expecting a high price for my room. This hotel, however, was outrageous. I could have spent the same amount of money and stayed at a five star resort. And let me tell you, The Pavilion is most certainly not a five star resort. I met with some Saratoga locals, and they told me that this place went up in about a month. The slapped together feel of the place only reaffirmed that fact. The walls were thin - I could easily hear conversations going on in the hallways and rooms adjacent to mine - and the entire hotel had a sterile feel to it. I found that interesting from a hotel that says it "pays homage to its vintage Saratoga roots." Not only does this place have a pretentious feel, but it also has a number of kinks to work out. It is a four story hotel, and has only one, extremely slow elevator. Also, there was a light in the TV room of my room that couldn't be turned off, annoying as I slept on the pullout couch. The one upside that I found was that the staff was friendly, and it wasn't as if there were rats and cockroaches in my bed, but this place still has a long way to go, and if I am ever in Saratoga again, then I will most certainly stay at another hotel.

It sounds like your stay in Saratoga Springs was not perfect. I try to hear from all of my guests so that we have the opportunity to address an issue at that time if one should arise. I am sorry that you got false information that the Construction time was about 1 month , in fact the construction time was 18 months and although having total sound proofing is near impossible to achieve, our walls were constructed with staggered studs double width including sound batt insulation and double sheetrock with a stc rating ( sound transmission) exceeding 60 which is on the highest level of sound abatement available. The interior design was also carefully thought out to add a modern twist to an old world feel. Simple and elegant with subtle tributes to 3 themes. I do look forward to welcoming you back for a future stay and truly hope you next experience will be exceptional.

We stayed at the Pavilion partly based on the raving reviews through Trip Advisor. The hotel was superb. We stayed 3 nights with our 8 and 4 year old boys. We had a one bedrrom suite with an outdoor balcony. It would have been nice to have a larger outdoor space but it was still nice to sit out and have a glass of wine! Wonderful hotel, we will be back.

Room Tip: We were in room 315 - was very nice and quiet.

We stayed at the Pavilion Grand while visiting Saratoga in June. The hotel and staff were both fabulous. The location to downtown was amazing; we never took our car out of the parking garage. It was our anniversary, and to our surprise, the management had a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us upon arrival. The room was spectacular, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We really cannot say enough positive things about the friendly, professional management, and staff. We are so happy this fresh new beautiful hotel was built. When we return to Saratoga, this is the only place we will stay!

On a recent motor trip to Montreal, we stopped in Saratoga Springs for one night at this hotel, based on reviews from Tripadvisor. The hotel just openned in May. Rooms are very modern, very large, spotless, and well appointed. Our basic studio suite had a full kitchen, including dishwasher, and all place setting and cooking utensils. To our surprise, it had, too, a washer and dryer, conveniently build into its own closet, not intruding into our room. Our king bed was extremely comfortable, and our room was quiet.
While we stayed only one night, and did not use all of the room's amenities, the layout makes the hotel especially welcoming to families and those who stay for several nights. We also found the rate to be very reasonable for the room quality (about $210). Valet parking is $10 per night.
The hotel also as a new restaurant, Mingle, which is advertised as a Korean Fusion establishment. The young and personalble owner, Jose Filomeno, has another restaurant by the same name in Albany. We had a very tasty small plate and a drink at the bar, but not a full meal. Yet, having met the owner, it appears that he knows his business, and is eager to please. The restaurant is probably more appropriate for adults in the evening hours, given the long bar, eclectic menu and nightlfe in Saratoga. The hotel has a small spa and juice bar on site.
More good news, is that the hotel is right in the middle of the shopping and restaurant district in town. Accordingly, within a few blocks one can find almost any type of restaurant, and plenty of other hotels, inns, and shopping.
Finally, the staff are very attentive, proud of the new property, and anxious to please guests.
We enjoyed our stay, and will definitely return to this very modern and accomodating hotel.

We just love our Signature Studio accommodations! They offer a wonderful blend of convenience, comfort and style and make a perfect home base for exploring and enjoying all that Saratoga Springs and Pavilion can offer. I am happy you stayed for even just one night on this trip and will look forward to welcoming you for your next stay ... hopefully a little longer so you can really enjoy all the area offers!
