This is a Fabulous Bakery in Historic Saratoga Springs in Upstate New York.
We went to visit Saratoga Racetrack for their annual thoroughbred horse racing meet every August, and while there we had breakfast at Mrs. London's indoor/outdoor bakery/café. It's in a very charming and Victorian town in the Adirondack Mountains. The Pastries are absolutely fantastic with just the best homemade ingredients. Tiramisu, Canolis, Napoleans, Eclairs, and other delectable cakes, and desserts are on display with much to choose from. This is a must visit whenever you come to Saratoga Springs. Visit Saratoga Racecourse as well. The track is picturesque and they have been running horse races here since the Civil War. It is the oldest racetrack in the United States....

We stopped at this well-known downtown pastry shop to pick up an assortment of items for a gift box for a friend we were having lunch with. Everything looked good so we bought more than we should have, including a separate order of macrons for our hostess. After lunch was finished, out came the pastries, but no macrons. Odd ... but we did bring them for the hostess so we didn't say anything. Everyone loved the assortment and we received compliments all around. The next day we received a call from the hostess who told us she decided to save the macrons for herself, and that they were "to die for" and when were we going back to Saratoga Springs again so we could pick up some more. Yes, everything was pricey .... but oh so good.

Everything from bread to pastries is first rate. Their almond croissants are as good or better as you will find in the best French bakeries in France. You will be hard pressed to find another pastry shop as good as this in the whole US (even other French bakeries in NYC are not as good). It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

The quiche was outstanding but you have to get there early before they sell out. The only issue I had with the place was the total lack of organization. You didn't know where to place your order and when you were finally waited on that person handled the entire transaction. They would have done better with a order counter and a pickup location. All in all I would return because the food was that good.

If you think you know what good pastries are, you are likely wrong -- unless you have been to Mrs. London's. While I seek-out these types of places when I travel, this small Saratoga shop offers the best, fresh, original, single-serving, daily-crafted morning pastries and artisanal desserts that I have ever had. And $10 will buy you one or two of most things they make, so it is hard for me to view it as pricey.

Please do yourself a favor and take advantage of this experience when you can!
